| Tenacious D is a must have for anybody with a sense of humor
This album is just as rich and brilliant as their first. However, seeing the movie will make it easier to understand the lyrics. The soundtrack is hilkerious, filled with rock and catchy. I cannot understand people who like rock music that don't like the D. This album is a must have!

| Pick Of Destiny Rocks But Only Briefly
if your a fan of the D, and i mean a real fan not some fool who saw the movie preview and thought it would be cool, then you NEED this album otherwise its probably not going to do anything for you Jack! the CD is only 35 mins in length and while contains mostly new tracks they are reminisent to songs from their first album. It Also contains one track not even in the movie "The Government Totally Sucks" if the cd flowed with the ultra mini songs that helped progress the movie with the tarot cards, it would have made a lot more sence while once again the songs are quite good there are a couple that don't make much sence without the visuals of the movie "Car Chase City" & "Sassafras" for example. However because I love the D and have been dying for some new songs KG & JB with the help of a few friends (Dave Grohl, Meat Loaf, and Ronnie James Dio)i give the album an overall score of 4 outta 5

The new Tenacious D CD is better than their last release. The songs are just brilliant all around, and funny at the same time! I recommend buying the Deluxe Edition, you'll enjoy it!
