Thando Mtyhobile Music Biography“ Cape Town is known for its beautiful scenery, pristine beaches and Table Mountain . The music scene is just as interesting. Now and again Cape Town comes up with refreshing sounds that can’t be ignored. The band Freshly Ground is one example and now there’s another gem in Thando Mtyhobile.” This statement appeared in the August 2005 “ Cape Argus ” regarding Thando’s debut album “Thando’s Introduction.” It is one of many great reviews that Thando enjoyed and the music accolades continue for Thando. Thando Mtyhobile hails from Kayamandi, Stellenbosch , South Africa . He started singing at the early age of 7 years in 1992. In 1999 Thando formed an acapella group called Peace Lovers Brothers and performed in the Western Cape region of South Africa . In 2004 his passion for music led him to share his music experience with a group of orphans called the the Kuyasa Kids. He stepped in and began to direct the music and choreograph their dance routines.
