The saga of the wealthy Ewing family continues in its sixth season - full of sibling wars, cheating, reconciliation and power struggles. In its sixth season, J.R. gets the cold shoulder when the family votes him out as president of Ewing Oil, and J.R. and Bobby bare-knuckle it out in their biggest fight yet over Ewing Oil thanks to their father's will. Plus Bobby and Pam split up, J.R. and Sue Ellen remarry and J.R. sees Cuba's jail system from the wrong side of the bars. Prefiguring other guilty pleasures like MELROSE PLACE and DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, this nighttime soap revolutionized the genre. DALLAS centers on a rich Texas family and features an all-star cast including Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy, Barbara Bel Geddes, Linda Gray, and Victoria Principal. Season six begins after the cliffhanger ending of season five that left Southfork in flames and the Ewings in danger. Even though they survived the flames, they've moved out of the fire and into the frying pan. Sue Ellen tells J.R. she wants an open marriage, Pam and Bobby's relationship is in shambles, and Ray is on trial for manslaughter. Though audiences had long ago learned who shot J.R., the show hasn't lost any of its can't-miss status in this highly rated season. $10.05 When jazzman Izzy Maurer (Harvey Keitel) gets shot and loses his left lung, he is forced to face the future without his saxophone, without the music that was his life. When he stumbles over a dead man in an alley and brings home a briefcase, the small rock he finds inside it changes everything. The glowing, floating stone has a power that overwhelms Izzy and Celia (Mira Sorvino), leading them through a series of events over which they seemingly have no control. Novelist Paul Auster's first solo directing effort (he previously codirected BLUE IN THE FACE with Wayne Wang) is a moving character study ...
