Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers songs
$10.49 There's no shortage of legendary producers in line to work with music world titans U2; when work with Rick Rubin broke off, Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois stepped in. The resulting NO LINE ON THE HORIZON, 2009's offering from the Irish rockers, continues in the grand U2 tradition, as soaring pop anthems like opening single "Get on Your Boots" pair with experimental melanges like "Tripoli," on a striking album featuring touches of all the albums come before, yet hinting at new worlds for Bono to conquer.
After spending the 1990s experimenting with electronic music and returning to arena-ready rock during the first few years of the 21st century, U2 stakes out territory somewhere between those two points on 2009's NO LINE ON THE HORIZON. Enlisting its go-to production trio of Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois, and Steve Lillywhite, ...

| | Bert Jansch Ornament Tree CD (1990)
Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers music CDs
$10.69 As Colin Harper points out in the liner notes, Bert Jansch has sometimes been viewed as folk hero from yesteryear. He argues that Jansch has continued to be an important voice in contemporary folk, and that The Ornament Tree, recorded in 1990, is worthy of his early-to-mid-'70s work. While it may be a stretch to compare it to a great album like 1973's Moonshine, there is little doubt that Jansch continued to be a vital artist. The overall sound of The Ornament Tree is quite uniform, filled with Celtic fiddles and flutes, and the song choices are a nod toward tradition. Ballads like the title cut and "The Rambling Boys of Pleasure" tell tales of lost love and warn of the pitfalls of roving, while "The Dreamers" is a wistful salute to the romantics of the world. The evocative "The Mountain Streams" conjures up the magic of a forest and a mysterious love, of two strangers who meet, part, and agree to meet again in another season. Jansch is in good voice throughout, and his guitar work is excellent ...
| | Sincere Recording Co. Presents Simone White CD (2004)
Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers songs
$20.29 update: I have a new record! It's called I Am The Man. I recorded it in Nashville with Marky Nevers (Will Oldham, Lambchop, Calexico, Lou Barlow, Tindersticks, Candi Staton). I play with a band (Tony Crow, William Tyler, Matt Swanson, Brian Kotzur, Paul Burch) on some songs, and just me and guitar on some. It was released June 4th, 2007 in the UK by Honest Jons/EMI. Unfortunately I can't sell it on cdbaby but you can find it here: www.honestjons.com xsimoneps. on my new record I redid a few songs from my first record (cos I wanted a second chance for them to be perfect!) so you might think my first is my second or the other way around but it's not true! the songs I redid are: I didn't have any summer romance, mary jane and roses are not red (and if you're lucky to have a vinyl LP, soldier sailor)and now this is about my first record The Sincere Recording Company Presents Simone White, which is for sale here on cdbaby:I normally play solo but for this recording I got some great musicians together. Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to introduce the band. Frank Bango (Frank Bango and the Magic Fingers) on piano, organ and guitar- he's an octopus! Jeremy Chatzky (Loser's Lounge, ...
