$16.45 UNBELIEVABLY GOOD Ok, so here is the deal ,,, twice now my computer has logged me off in the middle of this song, and now I am getting angry because this is the ABSOLUTE BEST song I have ever heard on this site. Everything about this song is fantastic. The horns, the harmonica, the choir, the vocals, the guitar solo, the breakdown at the 2:18 mark. If this song were a plant Willie Nelson would insist on smoking it. Very Dylanesque arrangement. AMAZING! WOW! WOW! WOW! I am officially a fan. Reviewed by: RobbyParsons from Elm Grove, West Virginia Review of The Whole Things al.. by Dennis Logan Band Genre: Folk Rock 3.8 Hook city.Great song. Always dig the jangly, country rock, Dylan, Wilbury feel. The mix is fantastic. The vocals are clear, great harmonies. Byrds feel. Great musicianship. Drummmer and bassist grooving hard. Gre3at guitar tone. Licks are perfect for tune. Great job guys.- sourowlband Olympia, Washington November 21st, 2007 mikey's review Really well thought out, and produced song you have here. Classic yet not dated as to sound old!! The instrumentation is very well done. The horns are awesome!!! as our the background singers. I listened to this song 3 times and could not find ANYTHING I did not like about it. Drums..Bass..Guitars..singing..everything is stellar. With that being said..there is nothing else to say but spot-on well done and enjoy the glowing reviews that are sure to follow! Reviewed by: braammusic from Chicago, Illinois DennisLoganGlendale, California Bio In 1961, Johnny Cash performed on an outdoor stage at a local fair in Long Beach, California. An 11-year-old boy stood in front and watched, entranced, as Johnny played and sang. After his set, Johnny took this captivated boy up on stage and taught him to play “Cotton Fields and Sugar In The Morning.†Johnny Cash's kind gesture would so inspire and enthrall this boy in music that he would devote his life to it. That boy was Dennis Logan. Dennis's involvement in music indeed spans a lifetime. Since forming his first band at 15 years old, Dennis has not stopped writing, recording, producing, and touring the world playing music. After relocating from Los Angeles to Nashville and meeting up with close friend and six time GRAMMY Award winner Tom Pick, Dennis was offered a record deal, and is now recording his first full length album in Memphis, Tennessee. Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and other message driven songwriters strongly influence Dennis' music and vocal styling. Musically, his songs are guitar driven with a hard rock/country feel, merging the sound and message of the 70's with modern times. Dennis' voice and delivery is full of passion and honesty. He tells powerful stories of America that few have addressed since the 60's, speaking frankly of the corruption of our leaders and the price the workingman pays for freedom. The album is slated for release Januray '08. NEWS (PAGE) 06.13.07 For Immediate Release! Dennis has just finished his first video for his soon to be released new album. The video Of, The Whole Things Going Down, is based on the movie, Network. The new video was directed by Andrew Logan, tour director for the Fallout Boys and Toni Braxton, and will be released as soon as it is finished with editing.
