| | Ice Saga CD Ice Discography of CDs
Founded in 2001 by former musicians of the Dutch neo Progressive band MARYSON, ICE present its first opus in the form of an ambitious concept-album. Released in 2005 on the Musea label, "The Saga" relates the story of people facing a new ice-age, remembering that their ancestors already had to go through this and discovering that there is a shelter... These rather short (Only one piece is over eight minutes) ten pieces show the multiple talents of experienced and inspired musicians. Their influences range from CAMEL to post-Peter Gabriel GENESIS, through PINK FLOYD (Especially the keyboards sounds), MARILLION or PALLAS of the "The Sentinel" period. Melodious, powerful and refined, this opus on the rocks includes brilliant guitar and keyboards parts. Don't resist to the call of ices ! Ice Saga Songs | 1. | Strangelight |

| | George Winston Autumn CD (1980) Windham Hill 20th Anniversary Edition
Saga album
$8.89 Principally recorded on June 19-20, 1980. Includes liner notes by George Winston.
AUTUMN was superstar new age pianist George Winston's first album to sell more than 1,000,000 copies. Listening to these spare, emotionally rich pieces, it's easy to understand why. But it's also clear what sets Winston apart from the hordes of other new age piano soloists: an insistent--occasionally even jarring--gothic sensibility that informs his ...
| | Very Best Of Julie London CDs (2006)
Saga CD music
$19.35 This two-disc set, generous at 50 tracks, is probably the most comprehensive Julie London anthology available. While certainly no match for her more technically accomplished contemporaries, London was a fine, appealing singer who used her cool, understated alto to excellent advantage.
London is best known for her signature song "Cry Me a River," and that's here, of course, but her sultry take on standards ...
| | Mary Lorson Tricks For Dawn CD (2002)
Saga music CDs
$25.59 Mary Lorson and her project Saint Low get intimate on their second album, Tricks for Dawn, and this time around Lorson is much more sweet and comfortable. She's coming into her own as a singer/songwriter and casts a sophisticated beauty similar to the likes of Kristin Hersh and Tanya Donelly. Tricks for Dawn combines threads of jazzy grooves and intricate indie rock, and Lorson's airy vocals exude a sincerity on tracks like "Anything Can Happen" and "Friends, I Have Been Drinking." "Morningless Dreamer" floats over layered horn and woodwind arrangements, and Lorson's budding confidence ...
