Jas (Pronounced “Jace) grew up within a collage of musical influences with that of the church being most prominent. This flavor of artistic diversity molded him to exhibit a vibe and style that currently solely belongs to “Godchild”. Somewhere between the Gospel greats of the Winans, Fred Hammond and Commissioned and the influences of such artists as Stevie Wonder and Sade, “Godchild” was born. He went on to join a group based out of California (Emajè); eventually, he left the group to rededicate his life and follow the vision of his Lord and Savior.
