$15.45 Unlike the soundtrack for the first TWILIGHT film, the release that accompanies the sequel NEW MOON features entirely new, exclusive music. The collection is also much more indie rock-focused, and some of the artists even composed music specifically for the film. Highlights include the first single, Death Cab For Cutie's "Meet Me On The Equinox," the melancholy feel and lyrical hook of which ("everything ends"), pertains directly to NEW MOON's plot line concerning the end of the main characters' relationship, and Muse's epic "I Belong To You," which incorporates dramatic, gothic-sounding piano and orchestral flourishes which ...

Suzumiya Haruhi No Yuuutsu Soundtrack album
$39.39 Subtitled THE BEDROOM RECORDINGS, Monade is the side project helmed by vocalist Laetitia Sadier from minimalist popsters Stereolab. SOCIALISME... from 2003 gives her a chance to record a mellow set entirely in French.
Monade's full-length debut, Socialisme ou Barbarie: The Bedroom Recordings, collects Laetitia Sadier's recordings both with and without Pram's Rosie Cuckston. Despite the fact that these songs were created over a period of six years and in between Sadier's Stereolab duties, they hang together remarkably well; as "The Bedroom Recordings" suggests, this album offers warmth and intimacy; much more, in fact, than Stereolab's later efforts, which often felt detached and overly polished. Though Socialisme ou Barbarie is by no means a lo-fi effort, its more modest sonics offer many small pleasures, such as "Cache Cache" (which also appeared as a ...

Suzumiya Haruhi No Yuuutsu Soundtrack music CDs
$15.65 "Kashmir" was nominated for a 1996 Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal.
In this age of unplugged it was inevitable that Led Zeppelin would return in some shape or form to reclaim a legacy which fused folky musings with harder leanings. On NO QUARTER, Robert Plant and Jimmy Page are joined by a core group of musicians featuring the Cure's Porl Thompson, The London Metropolitan Orchestra, and a multitude of Middle Eastern musicians playing exotic instruments. The result is a fascinating blend of Zeppelin classics and three new songs. "Nobody's Fault But Mine" and "Friends" are given a slightly altered interpretation while the more recent "Yallah," "City Don't Cry," and "Wonderful One" revel in multicultural trappings. "Yallah" and "City Don't Cry" are both steeped in chanting in a foreign tongue while "Wonderful One" sounds like an outtake from HOUSES OF THE HOLY.
Robert Plant and Jimmy Page's world music approach casts a positive sheen on the remainder of this collection of Zeppelin songs which include exotic versions of "The Battle Of Evermore," "Gallows Pole," and "Kashmir."
Ever since Led Zeppelin parted ways after the death of drummer John Bonham, fans were clamoring for the mighty band to reunite. This willfully ignored both the vital contribution Bonham gave to the group's mystique and Zeppelin's woeful one-off reunion at the 1985 Live Aid charity concert, but the legend of the band was so strong, reunion rumors reached a fever pitch whenever vocalist Robert Plant or guitarist Jimmy Page had a new album in the stores. In 1994, following Plant's moody, misunderstood 1993 album Fate of Nations and Page's widely lambasted collaboration with Whitesnake singer David Coverdale, the two quietly reunited to record ...

Suzumiya Haruhi No Yuuutsu Soundtrack CD music
$9.59 Wheeling Bitch Circus started off in 1998 with guitarists Nate DiDonato and Sean Ciccone, drummer Mike Carlin, and bassist John Walton. They were writing original, catchy metal locally in a swarm of generic hardcore and punk bands. They released a tape demo the next year which sold perhaps a few dozen copies, then went on to make a full-length, self-titled album after acquiring lead singer Allan Eustace. A few lineup changes later (John, Mike, and Sean left), they went on to record, "Era" with bassist Andy Barndt, drummer John Rowe, and additional guitarist Matt Grill. Steve Romano soon entered as third guitarist. In 2006, WBC released their third album, "Fallen Angel".WBC has had their share of local shows and bar gigs, but their biggest and most prominant display was opening slot for the Louder Harder Faster Metalfest in Allentown, PA on June 3rd, 2005. This event featured huge metal acts such as Turmoil, God Forbid, Jag Panzer, Trouble, Testament, Nuclear Assault, and many more (clips of WBC's performance are on Youtube and full footage is available on DVD).Here are some quick press excerpts:"Wheeling Bitch Circus describe their style as "aggressive and melodic heavy metal", and after one listen to their album, I think you'll understand why! The band's three-guitar punch ensures a consistently full sound, even during Nate's awe-inspiring guitar leads and solos. WBC's grooves are tight and their ...
