U-Roy Meets King Tubby by U-Roy was released Jan 23, 2007 on the Attack label. Two reggae innovators join forces on this dub compilation, with the toaster and DJ U-Roy working his inimitable magic on a variety of vintage 1970s rhythms mixed and manipulated by the legendary King Tubby, including Cornell Campbell's "I Shall Not Remove" and "The Gorgon," and Johnny Clarke's "Every Knee Shall Bow" and "Rock With Me." 19 track collection features solo tracks (not performing together) by reggae legends U-Roy and King Tubbys, all produced by Bunny Lee.
