LATE NIGHT SPECIAL is the sophomore release from Miami R&B/hip-hop quartet Pretty Ricky. Comprising four brothers, and distinguished by no-holds-barred lyrics and raunchy subject matter, Pretty Ricky deliver more of the slinky, dirty grooves that dominated their debut, BLUESTARS. The smooth vibe of "On the Hotline," an ode to phone sex, is a case in point, but there are plenty of more uptempo grinds as well, providing a full complement of wild, hormonally charged urban R&B.

Yo the album is good and all but too be honest pleasure p is the one who makes all the song sound good ya know but im not ganna hate on the cd it is hot ya know but he need too just come out wit a solo album ya feel me but its worth gettin..........

 very impressed
I was really impressed with my pretty ricky boys when I heard this album cause usually 2nd albums arnt really that good. I mean their 1st album was good, but it wasn't great. This album sounds pretty much like the 1st one. All they sing about is sex, but its really catchy beats. My favorite songs is late night special and so confused. Anyways, they did a good job I just hope that someday they can expand their lyrics into something less horny. Good job pretty ricky especially slick'm. Mmwaa

THIS CD IS MORE LIKE A GROWN AN SEXC CD I LOVE IT ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGZ WOULD HAVE TO BE LOVE LIKE HONEY U CAN GO ALL NIGHT LONG TILL U FALL FAST A SLEEP BUT FIRST U GOT TO LISTEN HOW THE HEADBOARD BEAT AN HOW THE MATREES SQUECK. THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE R&B CD'S I LOVE PRETTY RICKY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not a huge fan of Pretty Ricky but this album is OK. Do not anticipate it being a "classic" as previously mentioned by other critics, but a couple of tracks will be remembered for a while. My favs are "Personal Trainer", "Peer Pressure", and "On The Hotline". Wish this group had more singing talent to showcase, but they don't. They tend to take a song and make you think its going to be presented in classic R&B style but then mess them up by turning them into rap songs.

This audio document of The Corrs' Dublin homecoming concert has pretty much everything fans of Irish pop could wish for, including an appearance from Bono in his earthly incarnation, fresh from an audience with President George W. Bush. It's to the band's credit that the charismatic singer fails to steal the show, despite creditable efforts via an anthemized version of Ryan Adams' beautifully downtempo "When the Stars Go Blue," and a great, leering rendition of Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra's "Summer Wine."

"Get You Right," a smooth throwback ballad from Miami outfit Pretty Ricky's debut, BLUESTARS, features a hardcore rap that name-checks 1990s groups H-Town and Jodeci.
