PNG PRODUTIONZ is comprised of two members: Prophetik N (and) Giano. The group formed in Orlando, FL in 1995 on the quest to put out a product that would give the complete circle of hip-hop music: beats, rhymes, life, and skills. However, the providence of God in circumstances kept them from getting to the next level. In 1998, both members decided to surrender their hearts and lives over to Christ; and in doing so, they both agreed that their new Christian lifestyles were not conducive to the music that they were making. Thus, they gave up doing music totally, choosing to read and study the Word deeper for themselves in order to elevate their minds more spiritually and if it was God’s will, they would return to the music if and when they could devote all their energy and talents to the Lord and not for self-glorification.After two previous underground releases (The Element (2003), Element II (2004)), the front man of PNG Productionz, Giano comes with a bangin' solo release, complete with uncompromising, inspirational lyrics, hot tracks and that eclectic "night time music" feel reminiscent of classic hip-hop from the '91-96 era blending rhythmically with an Art of Noise influence. Giano is undoubtedly one of the most talented, versatile lyricists to touch any mic to date. And most impressive is the God-glorifying, Christ-centered content contained within each bar of each verse. Not a single phrase is lost, not a word wasted. Rarely is that "rewind factor" seen in emcees anymore. PNG Productionz presents that ol' raw classic material with Giano's "R.O.M. 7" that will easily be placed on anyone's "timeless" list.Be our friend: myspace.com/pngproductionz! R.O.M. 7 (Reason Of Ministry) album
$6.69 Annakin Slayd's first LP, Stalwart Empire is a groundbreaking and visionary work of progressive rap music. Unlike any hip hop album ever released, the fifteen track epic explores imagery based on the works of Spaghetti Western director Sergio Leone and bridges the gap between numerous genres by calling on the spirits of Pink Floyd, Johnny Cash, Donny Hathaway, Izaac Pearlman, Public Enemy and Gil Scott Heron. With guest appearances from Wu-Tang's Killah Priest, Montreal rock duo the Damn Truth, folkster Nir Bloo, British MC the Twin Lizard and Montreal rappers Eye 2 Eye, the album has already been showcased by the National Film Board for their Citizen Shift project citing the song 'Wigger' as a work promoting social change. With a flurry of gut wrenching, head turning bangers such as 'Afraid', 'Lies' and 'This Piece That Peace', the recognition and acclaim for Stalwart Empire are bound to be a plenty. ...
