| | 18 Wheelers Songs From The Road CD (2004)
Lucky7 songs
$12.69 The 18 Wheelers like to sing songs about trucks. As a matter of fact, they're probobly the only musical group in the state of Florida who play "truck driving music". Blending elements of roots rock, honky tonk country, western swing, rockabilly, and bluegrass, The 18 Wheelers keep it upbeat and dancable. They're not afraid to do the occaisional "cry in your beer" song either.Boasting three vocalists who sing lead, this Miami Florida based four piece band has been entertaining audiences with their combination of humor, good grooves and three part harmonies.Twanging guitar, slapping doghouse bass, and pounding drums are the signature of the band.Whether they're driving the train on a Johnny Cash number, rocking out on an Elvis tune, or singing an old classic by Buck Owens or Gram Parsons, the band seamlessly blends a deep catalog of covers with their own original songs. All the topics of the genre are covered - driving a big rig across the country, losing your girl, getting drunk, going to jail, and disappointing your mama. The group is no latecomer to the "alt-country" bandwagon, perfecting their own particular brand of American roots music in front of the nightclub scene and festival crowds for the past seven ...

Lucky7 album
$10.09 TRYmixemALL...electronica personifiedFrom Follet's Island on the beautiful Texas Gulf Coast comes TRYmixemALL. This music has been described as "...a cross between Erasure and Mozart...", "...melodic and lyrical..." and is intended to be uplifting in spirit and mind, inspiring YOU to be creative and thought-FULL. In short, STRESSLESS music! It is the PERFECT companion for the drive to and from work, hear track 1 "No Rage At Rush Hour", with friends while sharing your favorite cocktails, hear track 8 "Home From The Daily Grind", or maybe you are in the mood for a moment of introspection and self-awareness, hear track 9 "Nanine's Bridge".The compilation, in whole, is dancy, jazzy and screams CLEAN YOUR HOUSE NAKED!...The music was conceived and composed on a Yamaha MotifES8 synthesizer with a HUMAN TOUCH...electronica personified. Instrumental, each selection was brought to bare through personal ideas and inspirations. With a few following exceptions, you will be spared the details!...TRYmixemALL is about YOU discovering YOUR OWN visualizations, having YOUR OWN experiences and YOUR OWN feelgood moments that connect with the music...That said, it is worth mentioning where the ideas came from on a couple of the songs. | | Staggercrawl Long Time Comin CD (2007)
Lucky7 songs
$10.15 Named after a line in the comedy film Yellowbeard and a night of hard whiskey drinking, Staggercrawl has a lot going for it. Relatively new, they've recorded a CD, shot a video, have promotion and marketing dollars behind them, and even have a commercial being shown on VH1 and MTV in the north Texas marketplace. Their current release, Long Time Comin', featuring the single "Sinner" is selling well through the band's website and at live performances. A DVD package includes the band's video to help spread the word. Eric Pfeifer (vocals), Marcus Trimmier (lead guitar), Mark Trimmier (guitar, vocals), and Mark "Meco" Hand (bass, vocals) have been the rock holding down the fort, but it wasn't until Terry Sims (drummer) joined Staggercrawl ...

| | G U T My Only Drug Is Madness CD (2007)
Lucky7 music CDs
$15.19 "Music is the way I share what I have seenMy only drug is madness my bloodstream is cleanWhy do you need powder to behave like a starI say like Kurt Cobain, come as you areWe want to be loved to be worshiped as godsWe sell our asses to be ridiculed as sodsAn artist should live forgotten abroadAway from TV and the celebrity fraudI travel the world but haven't seen muchThe visions I have come through the sense of touchSo this is my fate telling stories to the beatSculpted in the hall where sound and meaning meetI am no media star, communication breakdown,This is aimed at the ether of the underground.Ape’s my existence and ape’s my excuse,If you’ve never suffered I can take the abuse."(From the album title track)G.U.T. is the zoological garden of my mind, where scores of weird beasts run around in frenzy and freedom. Since 1999 I have been writing electronica-based songs, and in August 2005 I finally committed myself to making a full album. For that purpose I rented the Graffitti Studio in Sofia, Bulgaria for four weeks' worth of studio time. Working in a wholly new country with new people turned into a genuine pleasure, given the resolute professionalism of the Graffitti crew. Ognian Kiossovski engineered the recording sessions. The Bulgarian composer and conductor Christo Pavlov arranged six of the G.U.T. songs for the Strrings (sic!) Quartet. After a rather quiet year with some additional vocal takes and editing by the sea in Kragerø, Norway, I received a generous grant from the Cultiva Express trust in Kristiansand, sponsoring the mixing of the album. Consequently I asked the mixer Endre Kirkesola at Dub Studio to board ship. In January 2007 he started on the task, and the mix will be completely finished in April. The album "My Only Drug Is Madness" will be out in May on Von Jackhelln Inhuman, my own record label, .After ten years of working with various well-established record labels, I have decided to go solo. Being the total-control anarchist that I am, I wanted to experience the whole process of writing, performing, producing, publishing, promoting and financing an album in no way inferiour to a commercial recording. Under the motto "Kontrol ist kool" I address the people that really matter: the fanatics that enjoy my music. You will see no magazine ads for the album, and only a handful of reviews, if any. The release of "My Only Drug ...
