| | Call Of The Mastodon CD (2006)
Cybergeist
$11.65 In 2006, Mastodon followed up its magnum opus, LEVIATHAN, with a collection of early recordings entitled CALL OF THE MASTODON. Although fans of the adventurous Georgia-based metal band may have been initially disappointed at the lack of a new studio album, CALL admirably reveals the group's beginnings by presenting the crushingly heavy LIFESBLOOD EP in its entirety, along with other formative tracks such as the mammoth "Deep Sea Creature," which pummels listeners with pile-driving rhythms, unrelenting riffage, and throat-shredding vocals. CALL shows that as monumentally heavy as the band would become, Mastodon were never anything less. Call of the Mastodon collects the influential Atlanta metal band's earliest recordings. ...

$7.29 | | Corey Franklin Closer To You CD (2006)
Cybergeist
$13.69 BIOGRAPHYCOREY FRANKLINCorey Franklin decided to pursue music when he asked his parents for his first guitar when he was in the 10th grade. Soon after he began songwriting and he’s been making music his first priority ever since. Originally from Seaford, Delaware, Corey joined his high school choir his junior year and became interested in vocal training and gained an appreciation for vocal and music theory. He enjoyed much success with the choir and received several high honors (such as winning the national chorale men’s choir division at Virginia Beach in 1995). It was through this experience that Corey learned to appreciate the live performance aspect of music. Shortly thereafter Corey started booking and playing live shows with his original music around his hometown where he garnered a substantial following. Right out of high school Corey married and welcomed their first child. It was during this time that Corey recommitted his life to God and began attending church. At the encouragement of his sister-in-law, Corey began to lead worship at their small bible study group. It was there that Corey’s passion for worship was birthed and resulted in meeting the people that would later form Corey’s first band “Salt Treated”. After a year of attending a local church, Bay Shore Community, Corey was asked to sing special music, which as a result opened the door for more invitations to sing. He was later asked to be the full-time worship leader and youth pastor. With a newfound sense of purpose, he realized how much he could positively affect people through music pertaining to the Gospel.Amazed at watching how worship transforms and prepares hearts, Corey’s passion led him to write songs that ...
