I Love You songs Product Information
I Love You album for sale by Diana Ross was released Jan 16, 2007 on the Capitol/EMI label. The material ranges from classic pop (Bacharach-David's "The Look of Love," for example) to vintage R&B (the Platters' "Only You") to seemingly odd but still enjoyable choices (Berlin's "You Take My Breath Away" and the Spiral Staircase's "More Today Than Yesterday"). The arrangements are straightforward, and Ross's performances are enjoyable, if a bit timid, but die-hard fans of the great singer will still appreciate her take on these fine, well-known tunes. I Love You CD music contains a single disc with 15 songs. ...See Full Description

|Diana sings beautifully|
Eagerly anticipated, I got the import first, recently, the domestic issue. Her voice sounds wonderful, the songs chosen for this special cd are very beautiful. I am very thrilled with this cd, and seeing her in the public eye once again doing what she does best. Beautiful cover songs. Any Diana fan will enjoy. donny

||I Love You is Lovely|
While this is not the greatest CD of Ross's career, it certainly is not the worst. It is what it is--a lovely valentine to her fans. Her voice has aged somewhat, but she still sounds wonderful. Gone is the girlish nasal quality. It has been replaced with a deeper/life's experience quality. The selection of songs are like a box of chocolates--assorted and delicious. She's sexy as hell on "The Look of Love". She's the Motown Diva on "I want You". Her rendition of the beatles "I Will" is enchanting. Miss Ross is at her best singing ballads and she does not disappoint. All in all it is a very relaxed and pleasant listening experience.

||Ms. Ross is back!|
I have read all kinds of reviews about this CD, from those that say it is a masterpiece to those that totally trash it. The fact is that this is a very nice, very enjoyable, very listenable project. Diana's takes on "More Today Than Yesterday," "I Will,", "I Want You," and "To Be Loved," among other familiar songs, are a pleasure. This CD is not a masterpiece, nor is it all that original in concept, yet it is just good listening music, perhaps more middl of the road than pop or soul, but just good music. If people could get over their biases against Diana, they'd see that. This CD is highly, highly, highly recommended for those who can listen without prejudice.

||Still Diana After All These Years!|
Diana's latest is a memory piece - almost a meditation - revealed in popular songs. I defy you not to think of someone you love or loved while you're listening to it. A smile, a tear, a spark... all are evoked by the Diana voice, whose vulnerability and tenderness have never been sweeter. Listening to this album makes you wonder who the movie "Dream Girls" is really about. It's ain't about Diana.
