El Amor Que Nunca Fue album
$12.59 DIEZ marks the 10th anniversary of the band in an intriguing manner, presenting an album of all-new material alongside another disc of mostly older songs covered by others in a pop/rock vein. The disc by Intocable features the elevated fare fans have become accustomed to, including the sublimely beautiful sweet "Soledad (Siento Morir)" and catchy single "Aire." The bonus disc includes a breathy version of "Fuerte No Soy" by Pepe Aguilar, as well as harder-edged renditions, including Volovan's version of "Ya Ves." Overall, DIEZ is a fascinating set from one of the most unpredictable bands in the Tejano vein.
The Tejano group Intocable has lived up ...

| | Pickin' On Lee Ann Womack: A Bluegrass Tribute CD (2002)
El Amor Que Nunca Fue songs
$14.29 With a name like Lee Ann Womack, one is bound to become a country music singer. Likewise, when the inevitable happens and one becomes as famous as Womack, one is bound to inspire tributes of one type or another. Pickin' on Lee Ann Womack: A Bluegrass Tribute offers a bluegrass tribute to the honky tonk princess, and may be just the ticket for those trying to fill the gap as they wait for her next album. Even a cursory glance at titles like "I Feel Like I'm Forgetting Something" and "Now You See Me, Now You Don't" will bring a tear to the eye of the most hard-hearted country boy and girl. The instrumental arrangements are mostly acoustic, featuring guitar, fiddle, accordion, mandolin, and a bit of harmonica. Half of the tracks have been recorded by Dennis Caplinger with a little help from accordion player Sharon Soldi; the other half, by Randy Hunter and Rollin' in the Hay. While most of the instrumental work is less than exciting, versions of "Why They Call It Falling" and "I Hope You Dance" are much better than what one might expect from Muzak supermarket music. Whether the Womack fan will let these mellow instrumentals rest quietly in the background or use them as a launching pad ...

Through experimentation and putting together different personalities, after some months the project Kovlo takes a shape and creates its own way. The first round ends in September 2005, with the release of the first CD A new position for a second degree burnt, recorded at the historical Bips Studio in Milan (recording studio in the past of bands like Afterhours, Matia Bazar and Casino Royale), with the support of the sound engineer Nicola Calgari (collaborator in the past of Matia Bazar, Ivano Fossati, Afterhours, Prozac+). The 19th of October 2005 the first concert in a private atmosphere at the Osteria del Teatro in Banco, while the 11th of November 2005 there's the official showcase to present the CD at the Living Room in Lugano.
