Cream Of Country Vol. 10-Cream Of Country songs
$12.69 So, this is CD #3. Is this the final chapter of the Dave-Benziger-CDs-at-CDBaby trilogy? No, its just my 3rd CD. But it's a good one as well, I think. Plus, I'm already half-way into CD number 4.Anyway, I could just say this one's a fun mix of country, pop, rock, funk, jazz, jazz-pop-rock, blah-blah-blah, or you could just check out the music samples on the left for yourself. But, I thought that since this album kinda has the biggest mix of music styles out of my three CDs here at the baby I'd give you a brief description of the tracks:1 - "Rusty? May I call you 'Rusty'?" (Keith Urban-vibe)2 - "It Breaks the Heart and The Head" (Sheryl Crow-vibe)3 - "Put It In A Memo" (Marty Stuart/funky-country-vibe)4 - "As Far As You Know" (Pop-country ballad)5 - "I'm So Pleased You're Not Dead" (country)6 - "It's All Ball Bearings Nowadays" (pop/rock ballad)7 - "Ophelia" (John Mayer-vibe)8 - "She Talks In Her Sleep" (Eric Johnson-vibe)9 - "I'm Making This Up As I Go" (Pop/Country/Rock)10 - "I Can't Imagine Why" (Eagles ballad-vibe)11 - "Mr. Beeks" (Steely Dan-vibe)12 - "Inconceivable" (Don Henley ballad-vibe)13 - "Its Not The Years, Its The Mileage" (Henley rock-vibe)For those of you playing at home, I continue to use movie and t.v. show lines for song titles. You may have also noticed it's a big album. 13 tracks, 1 HOUR and 7 minutes worth of music. Good music too (I think). This was the CD that I had sent to Carl Verheyen (guitar hero/teacher/friend - proud to say) in which Carl emailed me back and offered me the opportunity to go out to L.A. to record an album with him as producer (that album project turned out to be the BUMP debut CD - you can find it here on CD Baby. Just look for the black album cover with the orange "BUMP" road sign).Fun note: Track #8 on "Swingline Stapler" was featured on "The Eric Johnson 50th Birthday Project" that I was honored and proud to be a part of - 25 artists from around the world gave their music to be a part of a CD given to Eric for his 50th birthday.I know some of you out there may be checking this out for some big guitar playing. Well, there's a lot of that on there. I'm proud to say, some of my favorite guitar solos are on this CD. But since I've only got less than 30 seconds of sample time for each song available, its a little hard to give you some examples. But trust me - if you're looking for some full-blown lead guitar work, you'll find it here.As with the other CDs I have here at CD-Baby, ...
