F**King Your Creation album
$21.94 When Anthrax released AMONG THE LIVING in 1987, the band was a part of a then-burgeoning heavy metal sub-genre called speed or thrash metal. This was an inversion of glam metal. The band members wore worn-out jeans and T-shirts, their long hair was hairspray-free, and not a smudge of make-up was applied to their unsightly mugs. Their music was dense, borrowing speed from punk and hardcore and mammoth guitar riffing from metal, ...

F**King Your Creation album
$15.05 The American version of THE SILENT FORCE features two bonus tracks ("Destroyed" and "Jane Doe") not available on the European edition.
Available in the U.S. for the first time in 2008, Dutch symphonic rock heroes Within Temptation's 2004 epic, THE SILENT FORCE, continued the band's incomparable blend of classical, New Age, opera, and heavy metal music. In addition, the latter-day prog rockers' fourth ...
| | Pelican What We All Come To Need CD (2009)
F**King Your Creation CD music
$11.49 One had to wonder what Pelican's signing to Southern Lord could possibly mean. To be truthful, while the band did write and perform more structurally formal material on 2007's CITY OF ECHOES, they retained their trademark post-metal aesthetic -- percussive repetition, overtone ...
| | Bathory Under The Sign: The Sign Of The Black Mark CD (1987)
F**King Your Creation music CDs
$16.05 With their third album, 1986's Under the Sign: The Sign of the Black Mark (which, as you may have guessed, provided the name for their future record label), Sweden's Bathory took a major step forward in their development -- most notably when it came to the improved quality of the actual recording. Whereas their first two, technically challenged efforts had benefited from all the class and precision of a plane crash, this album's clearer, more professional sound finally allowed Seth Quorthon's fast-maturing songwriting skills to shine through the murk. This did not, however, mean that Bathory was forgetting their roots. Quite the contrary, for, while original fans unwilling to let go of the band's inaccessible past could content themselves with full-throttle thrashers like "Massacre," the shrill "Equimanthorn," and the downright furious "Chariots of Fire," those willing to grow along with the group could appreciate ...

| | Anthrax We've Come For You All CD (2003)
F**King Your Creation CD music
$24.45 Just when you thought it was safe, Anthrax (the band) is back. Refusing to change their name in a post-9/11 climate, the thrash legends from New York City storm back to the mainstream after a five-year release gap. Anthrax helped to create not one, but three metal sub-genres--thrash-, rap- and nu-metal, and WE'VE COME FOR YOU ALL serves to remind the current generation who was there first.
The album pulses to life with the tribal beat and crackling guitar of a metallic giant waking from a deep slumber. Following the briefest of pauses, the album explodes to life with "What Doesn't Die." It comes at you fast and hard, as one of the best rhythm sections in metal lays down its famous chug. The addition of guitarist/producer Rob Caggiano gives new blood ...

| | Sight + Sound: The 80'S CD (2006) With DVD
F**King Your Creation songs
$14.95 With the glut of '80s compilations on the market it's a wonder there's room for any more of these things. It seems that every imaginable angle has been explored (girl groups, new wave, British, American, Top 40, dance) and yet, they still come. Time/Life-EMI's Sight & Sound: the 80s manages to rise above the fray (if just a little bit) by doing a couple of things right. Trying to encapsulate a decade's worth of music on one CD is an impossible feat for any compilation to tackle but Sight & Sound does a better job than most. The song selections are predictable, but there's enough of a spread between, say, Blondie's "Call Me" and Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell" to make for a convincing (if short) overview of the MTV decade. The included DVD also covers a decent spread of visual material, with Culture Club's "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me" sharing disc space with J. Geils' ...
