Narrow Path is Dale's third CD and its getting more exciting everytime. His crying harmonica, catchy guitar licks and a warm electric bass keep you leaning in to it. You might find yourself trying to follow his unique whistling style as well. Wrap your mind around lyrics that have depth and soul. They will still be speaking to you (maybe haunting you) as you are being carried along in the groove of some of the instrumentals in this collection. If you get a chance to see him perform he keeps you amazed as he plays a guitar part into a looper, then picks up the bass and adds a bass line, then builds on top of that with more guitar, banjo, harmonica, maybe a djembe drum, then stacks on a few vocals. His years of cruising on his sailboat in Alaska, cult research during missionary trips to Haiti, England and around the U.S. have given him some thoughts worth pondering.
