This is a nice changeup. The Innocence Mission return with a benefit collection of cover songs that are all centered reverie akin to dreaming. Calling them all lullabies would be stretching a little bit, but the presentations are such that they might as well be. Born Marvin T. Andrews on January 4, 1978 in Lumberton, North Carolina. Drewrama's first interest in music came in the late 80's when hip-hop was heavy in the streets. His fathr played a variety of instruments in bands and also promoted records for Ichiban Records, making music a part of his life since a toddler. DrewRama started recording demos at the age of 15. He did things the old-fashioned way, looping instruments and putting words to the music. At the age of 18, he started visiting his father every summer who at the time was living in Atlanta, GA. Music was a part of daily life since his father was building his own record label. By the age of 18, he met a few talented brothers by the name of Jeni-se-qua and Drip-Drop who were doing work with Organized Noize. The same production team for Outkast and the Dungeon Family. He also worked with Sadek and Todd Mayfield. He and his friends would gain local recognition by opening shows for other groups throughout the Atlanta Area. Completing his first album titled, "Curb Life, Vol 1" in August 2002 under the Soar International Records Label, DrewRama feel very excited about his future albums to come.
