| | Sara Cavaiola Lemonade Daze CD Sara Cavaiola Discography of CDs
Sara Cavaiola BioThis tiny Northern up-roar Sara Cavaiola continues to make an impact on the Canadian music scene. Although Sara grew up in the greater Toronto area, most of her musical influences derive from the UK-listening to the likes of Oasis, The Kinks, and The Beatles. By the time Sara turned 18, she received her first guitar from the Pickering Flea Market. Most of Sara’s early years were spent convincing local venues to let her on stage.A pivotal moment in Sara’s career came in the summer of 2005. While attending a songwriting workshop in Toronto, Sara became inspired to write her first six song EP entitled “Lemonade Daze”. She even met some of Canada’s greatest songwriters such as “Andy Kim” (Sugar, Sugar, and Rock Me Gently) and “Ron Sexsmith”. Sara believes there are only two types of music in the world: good music and bad music. “If it has a great melody and you can sing to it it’s a hit”. Sara also believes that being a musician is one thing, songwriting is another. Sara is self-taught on the piano and guitar. Also, she is said to have a unique voice and brilliant stage presence. Sara can often be found between Toronto and Montreal entertaining family and friends. She hopes to one day be seen as a great songwriter. Her biggest aspiration is to take over the radio.Presently Sara has just completed her first CD, which she has recorded in Toronto. You can see Sara in action at local clubs and venues in the downtown Toronto area. | | Modern CD (2006)
Lemonade Daze album
$12.65 "Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you." “They’re like Manchester meets New York circa 1983 or 2003, but on a West Coast surfer tip.” –jon best, lead singer of million dollar itch. It is easy to describe the sound that Modern has achieved by comparing it to other bands. You could say there is some Queens of the Stone Age in there. You could see an Interpol influence. Maybe it is the Weezer power chords or the Strokes-esque staccato that catches your ear. There is a little New Order or Joy Division or Morrissey or Buddy Holly, maybe ...

| | Limbs Former Energy Giant CD (2007)
Lemonade Daze music CDs
$6.69 From Our Bio - Seattle, WA’s, The Limbs began in January 2004 by Starfield Screensaver (Matt Hanrahan) and Mr. Automatic (Mike Peter) after the ruin of their formerbands 27 Years and Society Club. Responding to their inner muses Starfield moved from drums to singer / guitar man, while Mr. Automatic moved from bass guitar to drums. Resurrecting his former Botulism Music (Athens, OH label) ego, Jack Crackerbarrel, Starfield and Mr. Auto based their “spaz rock” sound on Jack’s Botulism Hit “All Day Long (the Doggie Gone)”. Starfield called upon former Yeah oh Hell Yeahs band-mate Pants (Tyler Jensen) to fill out the rhythm section on bass guitar. After several attempts at adding a third guitar player, The Limbs discovered the perfect “spaz rock” sound they were looking for as athree piece powerhouse. From - RecordParty.com, by Iris.It was the first day under new management over at The Comet Tavern this past weekend, officially labeled as their Grand Re-opening Party. 5 bands, one evening, for 0 cashola, can’t beat that. But I didn’t really come to see those 4 other bands or even to celebrate the whole new management deal. The Limbs were billed to open, and that was incentive enough to get my hung over booty to the show. The Limbs are one of those bands that are few and far in between in this city. Their sound is raw, and at times, reminiscent of late 1970’s Manchester bands. The 3 piece kicked off their 9 song set with drummer Mike Peter announcing “We’re ...
