| | Jason Sapen Dark To Dawn CD Jason Sapen Discography of CDs
WHAT ARE PEOPLE SAYING ABOUT "DARK TO DAWN?"Brilliant writing and recording! I love a CD that sounds good no matter where it is played...like in my car!" Dave Byrum"I have listened to my copy of "Dark to Dawn" so many times that my two-year old and my five-year old know the words to the songs! "Misery" and "Can You Feel Anything?" are my two favorites, although it is hard for me to pick because they are all so good. It is one of the few CDs I listen to without skipping over any songs." Stacey Tighe - JSB fan and mother "I like the bluesy rock feel of "Dark to Dawn" and the writing is strong. It is a disc I would put on when romancing a lady friend." Monty Stone - DJ at 91. 1 FM The Globe"There are very few CDs I have that I can play from start to finish without skipping over songs - like The Beatles, John Mayer, and The Dave Matthews Band. "Dark To Dawn" falls into this group of talent that I can listen to over and over again. It's awesome to see a truly great group of guys get together and do something awesome like "Dark To Dawn." Jason is a great writer and has a great band in Scott, Shawn, and Ed. How could this CD not sound great?" Eric Burns - JSB fan and friend"Jason is a hidden talent. A hidden talent very much like how Dave Matthews was at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, and Darius Rucker and Hootie and the Blowfish were at the University of South Carolina before they each made it big. All the Jason Sapen Band needs is one good break and they'll make it. These guys are very talented." Digger Phelps - amateur music historian, ESPN college basketball analyst, former Notre Dame basketball coach, and JSB fan"I saw you guys on WNIT on February 1st, 2007. "S.O.S." is some of the best bluesy music I've heard in years. You guys will go far. I am looking forward to getting my copy of the CD. Thanks."Greg M. - Rochester, IN"Dawn to Dark" is a terrific collection of original songs by the Jason Sapen Band. The music by the band sounds great, beginning to end, and the songs are wonderfully written and performed superbly, but the real highlight here is Jason's expressive, emotional voice that is right on the money every time with these very personal songs he's written. "Main Street" gives me chills every time I hear it, and I've heard it alot. "Seeing Me" and "Misery" also stand-out as personal favs, but it's all so good. Kudos to the Jason, the band and Grand Master Studios' producer Chris Szajko for an excellent production. The sound of the CD blew me away. Someone's got great ears and deft touch on the controls. Sounds like a L.A., Nashville or New York CD, and the packaging is icing on the delicious cake. Quite a treat. Fantastic stuff... I love it all! I'm a big fan now, Gordy Young- 16 Morning News WNDU-TV South Bend, IN BIOJason Monroe Sapen was born in Norfolk, Virginia in April of 1976. Born to Charles and Valerie, a guitarist and a pianist respectively. Jason moved with his family to Elkhart, Indiana in 1980. Surrounded by music from the beginning, Jason's parents noticed an early interest in performing. At the age of 5, Jason was already singing in church. Jason will tell you that his earliest musical influence would have to be Michael Jackson. Jason says candidly, ' I know everybody had at least two copies of 'Thriller' at some point in their life. ' By the age of 10 he had joined the school band, playing the trumpet. However, Jason had always loved the guitar from watching his father play. 'My Dad was the best guitar teacher I ever had,' Jason says. He also credits his father with introducing what would become Jason's favorite group of all time, The Beatles-'the standard of which all rock music will be graded until the end of time. ' But everything changed when Jason first heard Eddie Van Halen's 'Eruption. ' 'I didn't know a guitar could do that!' Over the course of the next five years, Jason would begin playing AND singing solo with his acoustic guitar, exciting aud Jason Sapen Dark To Dawn Songs | 1. | Misery |

Dark To Dawn album
$9.55 Susan Boyle's grand unveiling on Britain's Got Talent was with a song from Les Miserables - the very song that lends this album its title -- and if she could become an international sensation based on a show tune standard, there's no reason for her to change her approach on her debut, since that's the sound that made her a star. Plus, a large part of Boyle's appeal is that she's a middle-aged woman recalling a bygone era when there were singers that appealed to an adult audience by offering soft, stately versions of pop hits and standards. That time was the late `60s and early `70s, and apart from a rather faithful version of Madonna's "You'll See," I Dreamed a Dream could very well have been released all those years ago, as it mixes up the show tunes, gospel, and Christmas carols with covers of Skeeter Davis' "The End of the World," the Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses," and a version of "Daydream Believer" that ...
| | Jimmy Buffett Buffet Hotel CD (2009)
Dark To Dawn CD music
$9.74 Since Jimmy Buffett never leaves his comfort zone, it's hard to call 2009's Buffet Hotel a return to roots but, in a way, it is. Discounting the mock rap on "Turn Up the Heat and Chill the Rosé," this album doesn't even have the lingering country and reggae flavors that seasoned 2006's Take the Weather with You, with all of the songs riding a cool, mellow country-rock wave, the kind that has been his stock-in-trade since the `70s. There's a difference between being part of a tradition and being stuck in the past and Buffett is surely in the former, not shying away from the new millennial mess, admitting that we all have "A Lot to Drink About" and never flinching from his advancing years, most movingly on a cover of Bruce ...
| | Pink Funhouse CD (2008) Explicit
Dark To Dawn music CDs
$8.99 Pink's insistently hooky, attitude-filled pop-rock has kept the singer a fixture on the radio and on singles charts since the early 2000s. The artist's fifth effort, FUNHOUSE, doesn't tamper with the formula: Pink's powerhouse vocals and in-your-face approach, backed by stadium-sized production, are in full effect on all 12 tracks. Even though the album deals primarily with aftermath of her divorce and includes serious moments of self-confrontation like "Sober," fans needn't worry ...
