Everyone is born with a gift..... Vernon Wilson was born with the gift of music. Blessed with a voice so melodic, it's hard to believe Vernon is a self-trained vocalist. He realized his God given talent at an early age in Saginaw, Michigan, the birthplace of R&B Icon Stevie Wonder. Vernon developed his vocal talents by listening to Motown greats like, Stevie Wonder and The Temptations. The self-study was inspired by the Legendary Luther Vandross. Vernon began creating flawless harmonies and perfecting his smooth silky voice. There was no doubt, Vernon was born to sing. After winning a number of local talent shows, he became a featured performer at local clubs around Michigan. It wasn't long before his crowd pleasing stage presence grabbed the attention of other more accomplished singers. Wilson has served as the opening act for Alexander O'Neal, Cherrelle, Bebe and Cece Winans, Sinbad, along with a host of other well-known entertainers. Vernon continues to grace the stages of Chicago, Miami, Tampa, and Atlanta (where he currently resides) putting love back into love songs and rhythm into R&B. His debut album entitled, 'Vernon Wilson, Let The Music Play', is hitting the musical scene November 9th. Add it to your musical library. Vernon's sound is undeniably infectious, soulful and music to your ears! Vernon Wilson Let The Music Play Songs | 1. | Don't Stop It |

Let The Music Play songs
$15.19 For many music fans, Germany is known as the place of origin for abrasive acts like Rammstein and Atari Teenage Riot or the cold synth pop of Kraftwerk. So it's surprising, to say the least, that a jubilant power pop trio like Miles is from the same region (although vocalist/guitarist Tobias Kuhn grew up in England). Its third record and first U.S. release (as well as only the second for the Feel label) is a collection of selected tracks from the first two albums, and it's certainly a nice, polished introduction to the group's carefree melodies. Handclaps, wonderful vocal harmonies, and happy guitar riffs are the norm for songs such as "We Need More Close-Ups" and the cutesy "Astronaut Without a Cause." By the end of the album, however, the band allows some deeper emotion to seep through on the down-tempo "Grasshopper's Gone." And while the record's title suggests a competition, Miles has both structure and happiness well covered, displaying strong songwriting and oodles of optimistic potential. ~ Kenyon Hopkin
ROCKPILE MAGAZINE says 'It's catchy. It's superbly written. And it's only a matter of time before singer/guitarist Tobias Kuhn is spoken of with the same rowdy respect as Lennon, Westerberg, and Wilson'CMJ says 'It's a hit-after-hit melodic masterpiece which should garner Miles all the Stateside accolades the band deserves"ALTERNATIVE PRESS says 'Miles' melodies won't leave your head for weeks. The angular pop of 'Sonic 3000' alone is worth clearing space in your heart to make room for these guys. Rating of 8 out 10.'MILES BIOGRAPHY:After enthusiastic critical praise, headlining and support tours with the Flaming Lips and Stereophonics, radio chart number one position in Japan, blistering performances at the Rock am Ring and Rock im Park Festivals, and two incredible full length albums, the band Miles will release a powerful and emotive American debut. Hailing from Bavaria, Germany, the story of Miles began in the mid-90s. Lead Vocalist and guitarist, Tobias Kuhn spent his childhood in Cambridge, England and Peking, China, ending up as a young adult in Wuerzberg. While studying at University, he quickly met musical soul mates in guitarist Mike Silver and drummer Ronny Rock. The trio became fast friends, recognizing their mutual desire to start a rock band. After a limited time waxing poetic about independent ...
