| | Rosanne Cash Super Hits CD Rosanne Cash Discography of CDs
Included are ten of Rosanne Cash's biggest hits, from "Seven Year Ache," "The Way We Make a Broken Heart," and "Blue Moon with Heartache" to "Never Be You." Though there would've been plenty of room for additional hits, this disc isn't bad value-for-money at a cheap price. ~ John Bush Super Hits Review

Super Hits album
$9.69 Based on W. Somerset Maugham's highly acclaimed 1944 novel, this is a sprawling, ambitious account of one man's quest for spiritual identity. Over a number of years and continents, we watch as Chicago scion Larry Darrell (Tyrone Power), newly returned from World War I, breaks off his engagement to the lovely but shallow Isabel (Gene Tierney) in order to run off to Paris, and then India, in search of enlightenment. Years pass, the stock market crashes, and the former lovers are reunited. Larry has found the peace he seeks, ...

Super Hits CD music
$12.35 For a period in the early 1990s, Garth Brooks was not only the biggest star in country music, he was one of the biggest stars in music, period. An unassuming Oklahoman who fused the blue-collar ethic of new traditionalist country with an unapologetic pop side that drew on his love of 1970s rockers like Kiss and Billy Joel, Garth Brooks fundamentally changed the sound of mainstream country music in much the same way that Hank Williams had in the 1940s and Patsy Cline had in the 1950s. THE ULTIMATE HITS, a three-disc collection that is the first comprehensive career overview for Brooks, contains all of his most beloved songs in remastered sound, plus four brand-new songs ...

| | Folkscene Collection: From The Heart Of Studio A CD (1998)
Super Hits songs
$14.75 If you like folk music and have ever lived in Los Angeles, chances are you know the names Roz and Howard Larman. Their FolkScene radio show on KPFK has been an L.A. institution since 1970, and one of its highlights has been visits to the studio by just about everybody you can think of from the world of folk. There have been more than 1, 500 such guest appearances over the history of the show, so this 13-track CD of FolkScene performances from the 1990s barely scratches the surface. Still, it's a start, and a fine one. The sound quality is amazingly good, especially considering that the disc contains unvarnished live recordings, with no overdubbing or "fixing in the mix" later on. Noteworthy performances include Bruce Cockburn's "Pacing the Cage," Kate and Anna McGarrigle's "Goin' Back to Harlan," Richard Thompson's "Waltzing's for Dreamers" and Mary Black's "Columbus." The best track, though, is Iris Dement's "Our Town," a self-penned ode to a dying hometown with an aching, heartfelt vocal that will stay with you after the singing has ended. ~ Jeff Burger

$11.39 Long Live The King! Joe Raciti is the “King of Popsical,” a genre that ties piano-pop and musicals together with an old shoelace. Hard to picture? – Imagine Ben Folds had an affair with Queen’s Freddy Mercury in some freaky dream, got pregger’s and had a kid named Joe Raciti who was ultimately adopted and lovingly raised by Leonard Bernstein.Occasionally performing in his underwear, Joe's nuts.Joe plays not what he wants but what the music demands. He is enslaved by a musical monster that whispers into his ear, “Dammit Joe, Canada has to be able to hear you singing, ...
