I am not usually a fan of romantic movies, but "Jane Eyre" is truly wonderful! The actors played their roles to perfection! It is inspiring and exciting. When I saw it aired on PBS' Masterpiece Theater, I knew I had to buy the DVD!

This is one of the best versions of Jane Eyre I've seen. It does miss some of the book, but I suppose they have to so they can make it different from the others. Anyway, I loved it! The acting from both actors is amazing, Toby Stephens is one of my favourite Rochesters ever. Ruth Wilson does well for her first time acting. Well, its wonderful, I hope you like it too.

For those that like that era and such movies as Pride and Prejuidce, Whuthering Heights, this is right up there. My hats off, well done.

||Hey,are you passionate with a sense of adventure and love?!?|
As me and my mom curled up on our couch in front of the tv to watch the movie of Jane Eyre, I pondered what it would be about. I had loved all the other movies that were written in bascially the same time period. Jane Eyre was the same. From the moment I first started watching Jane Eyre I was enthralled. The characters gripped me so tightly that I didn't want to let go. The plot was amazing and the acting was beyond words. My very favourites were Jane and Mr.Rochestor. They are so fun to watch and so incredibly sweet! They both moved my heart and I smile when I think of them. As soon as I saw the movie I begged my mom to order it for me. (She had also fallen in love with it!) She give it to me for Valentines and I watched it with my friends and my family! Most of them all love it! Now I am reading the book which i am also enjoying immensely. I think that it is such a good movie because Charlotte Brontee gives you these wonderful characters that are so unique. You can connect to them and they are so full of rich colour and life. Every novelist in that time whether it was the Brontee's, Jane Austen, George Elliot, Anthony Trollop, or so many more, they all have these characters that capture you. I know that is why Jane Eyre was such a inspiration for me. Everyone else that has as much passion for this movie(or others of it's kind) I smile. If you are one that hasen't seen it I encourage you to! Maybe it won't be the one for you but on the other hand I might sweep you away!
