I have always loved to sing, and started singing professionally in a country and western band at age 22 or so. Then I went on to perform alone, with accompaniment tracks, for several years. This was good training for my voice, but not my spiritual life. In 1992 I made the decision to quit, and concentrate on gospel music.Singing Christian music has been rewarding, and in it, I have a sense of purpose. To go to Nashville and record an album of my favourites was a dream come true, and my hope is that these songs will comfort, bring hope, and perhaps make your day a little lighter for having listened.May the Lord bless you and keep you! But his real love is country music.On November 13, 2006, my life changed drastically. My oldest son, Duane Joseph, 11, was diagnosed with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes. I can't begin to tell you how this affected me. Watching my son change from a healthy young boy, to being dependent on insulin shots 2 times a day, had left me feeling helples. As a father, my feelings of rage, anger and denial consumed me in between the tears I shed for my son. After a while, I realized that this behavior wasn't helping Duane Joseph.
