| | Soul People How We See It CD Soul People Discography of CDs
For over 5 years Soul People have been the favorite house band of the Chicago soul music, hip hop and spoken word scene. How We See It, Soul People's third album-length release, is born of that scene which nurtured the band's music and which the band's unique sound helped to shape. Soul People's sound combines deeply eclectic influences, a reverence for the roots of funk, soul and hip hop, and unstoppable desire to play the hottest, hardest grooving, and freshest music every time out. Through the 14 tracks on the album Soul People has created an organic collaboration with Chicago's hottest vocalists and mc's to paint a unique and powerful picture of today's Chi soul and hip hop scene. Soul People's funk infused, streetwise production style and hypnotic instrumental grooves run through every track and bring a unique and soulful sound to a wide variety of all original material. From the throwback funk-jazz instrumentals, to the driving hip hop anthems, and the 10 minute rock hiphopera title track, Soul People's message is clear: THIS is How We See It. How We See It album
$11.18 After his aborted, internet-leaked 2008 album, 12 PLAY: 4TH QUARTER, R. Kelly busied himself with guest spots for Beyonce, T-Pain, and Kanye West, even offering a free download on iTunes, "I Believe," inspired by the election of president Barack Obama. While such moves insured that Kelly would never stray far from the R&B throne he's occupied for more than a decade, his 2009 reboot of 12 PLAY, UNTITLED, should provide more than enough reason for fans to keep coming back for more. From Auto Tune-laden crowd ...

How We See It music CDs
$8.99 Pink's insistently hooky, attitude-filled pop-rock has kept the singer a fixture on the radio and on singles charts since the early 2000s. The artist's fifth effort, FUNHOUSE, doesn't tamper with the formula: Pink's powerhouse vocals and in-your-face approach, backed by stadium-sized production, are in full effect on all 12 tracks. Even though the album deals primarily with aftermath of her divorce and includes serious moments of self-confrontation like "Sober," fans needn't worry that Pink has lost any of her chutzpah.
If anything, ...

How We See It CD music
$30.38 The "free" in the title to Joss Stone's fourth album apparently refers to the neo-singer breaking free from the shackles of her major label, EMI, who apparently have not let Joss be Joss. That this constricting argument happens to be the exact same story line Stone used for 2007's Introducing Joss Stone, the splashy diva power trip meant to unveil the "real" singer, is conveniently forgotten, as is the modern R&B of that makeover, with Joss returning to all the retro-soul of her first two records. The one lingering element of Introducing is a propensity for melisma-laden oversinging, a tic that stands out in the warmer, funkier settings of Colour Me Free! Still, her raw vocal skills remain impressive, as does her taste in soul, and this does beat with a messy human heart. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine

How We See It music CDs
$10.15 This CD entitled The Awakening is my first official album project to be released. This is a gospel hiphop album consisting of 18 songs. However, even though this is a rap cd, it is not your traditional "crunk" music with the same simple beats on every song. I have strived to create a sound very unique to anything else that is out in the music industry. This cd is filled with powerful lyrics, thick production and head-bangin beats. This cd also crosses and mixes rock, funk, rnb, electronic, movie theme music, and instrumental music into the rap sound. This fusion has created a sound that is guaranteed to bring a pleasing sound to the listeners' ears. I also have many guest appearances on this cd including:Tyronne, Marco Britton, Karen Richardson, Kyle Lovett, Odell Mitchell III, Kingdom Come Ministries children's choir, Millikin University Advanced Jazz Combo, and much more!Unlike the majority of gospel ...
