| | Spiff & Krisis Revolution Evolution CD Spiff & Krisis Discography of CDs
Shortly after forming in 2003, Spiff and Krisis spent two years writing and recording over fifty songs and performing at all thirteen of their counties’ high schools as well as countless party and basement gigs. A few years later, armed with a socially and politically charged message, Spiff and Krisis moved up the local ranks to the larger clubs in their home state of Maryland. They have played clubs such as the Recher Theatre, Thunderdome, Sonar, Brass Monkey, and the Grange Hall a number of times to an audience of primarily punk rock and hip hop kids from the Baltimore area. All the while attracting an audience with their message, energetic live show complete with break dancing and freestyling, and constant on-stage humor. In 2004 and 2005, Spiff and Krisis continued performing at the local venues and getting booked on college gigs in PA, NC, and MD. These gigs included UNC Chapel Hill, Elon University, Penn State, Duke University, and UMD College Park. During this time, Spiff and Krisis opened up for national acts such as Afroman and Wolfpac, and have shared the stage with smaller nationally touring acts such as 3-2 and Big WIll, I Voted for Kodos, Karmella’s Game, Morning for the Masses, and ISM.In April of 2006, Spiff and Krisis went on their first Tour of the East Coast. They traveled from North Carolina to Pennsylvania and back performing eleven shows in twenty five days. They spent the summer of 2006 performing at the local Baltimore clubs and recording their first full length release together entitled “Revolution Evolution.” Revolution Evolution is a sequence of events in which Spiff and Krisis live out the evolution of the human desire for revolution. What begins as a revolution in music spreads to the revolution of society, and evolves into the revolution of the mind. This album’s songs are what Spiff and Krisis call “Progressive Hip Hop” in which typical rap beats are exchanged for pieces of music, and each song delivers a message at breakneck speed.Currently, Spiff and Krisis has eveolved into a hip hop band called the "Spotlight Effect." If you are in NC, VA, DC, MD, PA, or OH, you can catch them in June on tour.Check out their myspace page for dates and new songs:http://www.myspace.com/spotlighteffect Revolution Evolution Music | Category | Rap Albums | | Label | CD Baby | | CD Universe Part number | 7372620 | | Catalog number | 116089 | | Discs | 1 | | Release Date | Dec 19, 2006 |

| | Will Ray Mojo Blues Jam Trax-Instrumental Backing Tracks CD (2006)
Revolution Evolution songs

All the songs have Bass, Drums, Rhythm Guitars and Keyboards. No Vocals or lead guitar are included here. These also are the exact backing trax to Will's popular blues CD "Mojo Blues".Instrumental Backing Tracks Version Only.=============Will Ray BioFew guitar pickers can out-slide, out-bend or out-torture a Telecaster the way Will Ray can. As a member of the pyrotechnical twang trio The Hellecasters, Will has created a place for himself among some of the world’s guitar greats. A native of Richmond, Virginia, Will began his musical journey at an early age when his older siblings would play records of Peter Paul & Mary, Leadbelly and Elvis. In high school Will discovered the Beatles, the Blues Project, Cream, the Grateful Dead and Paul Butterfield Blues Band while learning the guitar at age sixteen. After graduating from college he started playing in a string of local Richmond rock bands including Dry Ice, Mace, King Cotton and The Cold Harbor Band. In 1983 his new bride, Gayle, talked him into moving out west to California where he could play music full time and she could pursue her art. In Los Angeles Will began finding work in nightclubs and eventually in the studios. He was a member of several ground breaking 80’s cow punk bands including Tin Star , Candye Kane & the Armadillo Stampede and Wylie & The Wild West Show. Utilizing his experience in studios, he began producing country oriented artists in the LA area including three compilation albums, Hollywood Roundup, Detour West and Far West. It was on Hollywood Roundup that Will first recorded with soon-to-be Hellecaster henchmen Jerry Donahue and John Jorgenson. Pretty soon Will was part of the edgy West Coast country sound while also working with artists such as Carlene Carter , Steve Earle, Tom Jones, Solomon Burke, Joe Walsh and Michael Nesmith. In 1990 Will and Jerry Donahue had an idea; why not put together a band that played nothing but guitar music with three way guitar harmonies? Jorgenson’s name came up and a few weeks later the three did a show for Ronnie Mack’s Barndance at the world famous Palomino Club as The Hellecasters. A year later Michael Nesmith caught the band and offered them a record deal on Pacific Arts ...
