Who Shall We Give It To Angels? CD music
$12.65 Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Sean Campbell sensed as early as the tender age of one that such a tiny state would never be able to sustain his profound talent and immense ambition. A convincing little tyke, he persuaded his single mother to sell the familyās goat milking business, load up the old jalopy, and head west to the promised land. With visions of swimming pools and movie stars in their heads, the two motored across the vast American continent. After settling down on the rough streets of Beverly Hills, Sean became convinced that he was the reincarnation of a black blues piano player from Louisiana. He begged and pleaded for piano lessons so that he could live out his destiny, but after only one lesson, Sean realized that he was mistaken. Furthermore, ...

| | Boss Martians Pressure In The Sodo CD (2007)
Who Shall We Give It To Angels? album
$12.59 In the mid-00s, the garage/punk genre experienced a commercial rebirth due in large part to Miami Steve Van Zandt's weekly radio show, Little Steven's Underground Garage. It goes without saying to anyone who has heard any of the previous five Boss Martians albums that lead Martian, guitarist/singer/songwriter Evan Foster, is probably a dedicated listener. The band has been on a hiatus, at least for studio recordings, since its last release in 2003, but this grungy rock & roll doesn't seem either retro or musty, even if it flaunts its revivalist influences. Foster takes the production reins this time and invites punk Godfather Iggy Pop to both co-write the driving "Mars Is for Martians" and sing dual lead on the tune. With pile-driving guitar, crashing drums, and an inescapable hook, it's the highlight of this set, even if the other dozen songs are nearly ...
| | Danny Taddei The Lost Isle Of Santocia CD (2009) (Import)
Who Shall We Give It To Angels? CD music
$11.15 Danny Taddei was born a ļæ¼traveler. He was born on ground hogās day on Long Island, New York, 1963, but was quickly swept away to live in Hong Kong. His father, a businessman by trade, is also an adventurer. Before Danny was out of grade school, his father had taken him on an around-the-world adventure that circumnavigated the globe three times and visited more countries than can be remembered. With homeports anchored in sun splashed ports oā call of The South China Sea, The Bermuda Triangle and Polynesia, it is no wonder that Danny grew up with stories to tell about living a buccaneers life on the tide of the coconut trail.Danny learned to read music before he could read English and learned to sail a boat before he could ride a bicycle. As a kid that loved music more than candy, it was not long before words were set to rhythm. His life is his songs, his songs are his passion, and his passions are for life and adventure in the tropics. His music is a compilation of his experiences ā stories of hope, love, life, rum and humor.āThe more you live, the more you learn and the more you experience, the more you have to share and reflect upon. You become more aware of what makes you smile and what you would change; if you could. Sometimes you think maybe you can! - SO, as an artist and a songwriter, you look for ways to see it and tell people about it, sometimes to help yourself understand and sometimes to help someone else find their way. Either way, an album of songs is like a group of dreams you have inside your head like a photo book of little videos that paint a moving picture each time you play them. They pour out on the canvas of time like colors and textures for a soundtrack to your life. When I write songs, they happen all at once. Iāve never really been the type of writer that sits down to intentionally write a song. Songs just happen. My life goes on and I experience things without thinking too much of them and then all of a sudden I find a place, kind of a wrinkle in time where I sit down on a beach and in 30 seconds I have a 4 minute song in my head. Itās complete from front to back. Thatās when I hope I have a pad of paper handy I can scribble it down. I write as fast as the pen can move, jot the chords above the words and at some later point I play it on an instrument. I donāt know how it happens; they just come. I figure itās my subconscious trying to make sense, and peace between, what I know and what I wish. I try to make life as sweet as possible by enjoying the things you can take with you. Iāve never seen a hearse pulling a U-haul and like Christopher Columbus said āRiches never made a man richer, only busierā. Thatās what āI Play Guitarā is about and the same goes for āChange Will Do You Goodā. I guess thatās why I try to leave notes about each song I write so the listener can know where my mind was when I wrote the songā.For Danny Taddei music has always been the current that runs through the veins of his soul in the changing tides of life. Heās been a touring act, a studio producer and just as often, a ship captain and a flight instructor. He lives on a sailboat when heās not working and even sometimes when he is. ļæ¼You canāt help but hear the trade winds in ...
