| | John Dunnigan Cartunes CD John Dunnigan Discography of CDs
John's second Album was released in 1993. Showcasing his songwriting and vast musical abilities. This CD is packed with musical "gems". The "I'm Too White To Sing Reggae" became and underground cult classic in the clubs of the Northwest. And "The Quarter Horse" may be Johns strongest and most requested song.Born to Play, not RunMusician. Songwriter. Entertainer. Funny man. Baseball coach. Pancake maker. Lawn mower. John Dunnigan is many things. Heâs also one lucky, plucky guy. Heâs been fortunate to play music for a living almost his entire life. Pick any stringed instrument and odds are he can pick it - guitar, banjo, pedal steel. He also blows a mean harp. During his career, John has played with Bonnie Raitt, Asleep at the Wheel, Norton Buffalo, The Dirt Band, Kris Kristofferson and many others including Bruce Springsteen.Growing up in Northern California, John experienced the same electric jolt that sparked many a young musical career â he saw the Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show. It rocked his world. He bought a guitar and soon began playing some of the leading venues in California - pizza venues, that is. John later toured the country with a band and eventually landed in Big Fork where he pulled off the road and decided to plant roots. As he played around the Flathead Valley night after late night, it slowly dawned on John that he was destined for mediocrity. So, he developed a solo act and started writing original songs that were both heartfelt and hilarious. Songs like âI Donât Touch, I Just Lookâ and âIâm Too White To Sing Reggae.â Over the years, he has recorded several CDs that feature some of the leading musicians in the Flathead Valley.Since arriving in Montana a generation ago, John has raised a lot of roofs with his spirited, crowd-pleasing music. He has also raised two sons (Andy and Jimmy) with his wife (Andrea). Simply put, John Dunnigan is a devoted family man and dynamic, first-rate entertainer. $8.85 Richard Thompson's albums with Mitchell Froom in the producer's chair tended to be stylistically varied affairs, and on RUMOR AND SIGH, the singer's distinctive English vocal inflections and biting guitar spar inspiringly with Froom's kitchen-sink approach to production. Froom found intriguing ways to cope with Thompson's own wild stylistic approach, ranging ...

$24.29 Cornwall, jutting out into the Atlantic halfway between Ireland and Brittany, stands at the sharp end of the island it shares with Scotland, Wales, and England. Cornwallâs surprisingly strange, yet strangely familiar music has its roots in ancient British/Celtic culture, but also buzzes with a host of other influences swept in by the surrounding tides. At the cutting edge of Cornish music is Dalla. With their firm grounding in the tradition, their pivotal position at the heart of the revival, and their wealth and diversity of experience, itâs easy to see whyDalla have the edge. The CD 'More Salt' was the second album by Dalla, and was released in 2003. Other Dalla albums: 'A Richer Vein'(2001), 'Rooz'(2007)At the core of Dalla are founding members Hilary Coleman (Vocals, Clarinets) and Neil Davey (Fiddle, Bouzouki, Mandolin).More Salt also features additional guest musicians on Double Bass, Guitar, Vocals, Percussion, Gaita Galego (Galician Bagpipes - also common in Cornwall), and a Brass Section. The material includes traditional dance tunes, self penned material, and songs in Cornish and in English.Hilary Coleman grew up amidst Cornwallâs irrepressible pub singing tradition. She later co-founded groundbreaking bands such as Gwaryoryon and Sowena. She is now one of the leading authorities on Cornish traditional music and her company Cumpas Ltd. has an impressive track record in promoting Cornish music events and education. In 2004 she became a bard of the Cornish GorsethNeil Davey and his brothers kick started the revival in Cornish traditional music in the 1970s with their band Bucca, and went on to gain a wealth of experience with bands in the wider Celtic scene, including Anam. He has played throughout the world, appearing alongside legendary names such as Altan, Donal Lunny, Dougie Maclean, Martin Hayes, Solas and Patrick Street. His compositions are widely played and recordedWhat others say about Dalla:âThe rhythmic, mesmerizing ...
