Andre Alessandro, Tenore lirico / Languages: Italien, Spanish, German, French, English, Swissgerman...... Of Italian extraction, the acclaimed lyrical tenor grew up in Rome (Italy) and Zürich )Switzerland). He began his studies under the aegis of opera and concert singer Werner Ernst in Zurich. At the same time, he took courses in aural training, harmony, general music theory and music history at Zurich Music College. In 1995, now an advanced singer, he was accepted for tuition with chamber music singer Ruthilde Boesch in Vienna - the Kammersängerin also known for assisting Edita Gruberova to fame. In 1997, Andre Gloor auditioned with Alexander Pereira, the Director of Zurich Opera House, and, as a result, was awarded a scholarship by the Armin-Weltner-Stiftung for his classes in Vienna. Following his debut as Bastiens in Mozart's opera Bastiens et Bastienne, Andre Gloor went on to give numerous concert performances and recitals to appreciative audiences everywhere. His Debut at Zurich Opera June 2001 and Vienna State Opera November 2002 . Here just a few of his successful roles: Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, Belmonte in Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Alfredo in La Traviata, Faust in Faust, Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Nemorino L'Elisir D'Amore and Tony in West Side Story. The past Years Andre toured with Recitals and Concerts all over Europe. Today, Andre Gloor's vocal coach is Tenor Ion Buzea (Romania) in Zurich. Thanks to his flexibility and openness towards to all kinds of musical styles, he has been able to build a wide repertoire. If anything, though, his musical preferences lie in the baroque era where he can indulge his passion for coloratura and improvisation and let his all his skills unfold, also Napolitan Songs, Vienese Songs and Latin Songs are one of his Passion. In autumn 2002, accompanied by musicians from the Zurich Chamber Orchestra, he recorded a CD with the rarely performed songs of Charlie Chaplain. The CD was then premiered at a concert with Patricia Kaas. In summer 2003, Andre Gloor fulfilled on lifetime dream and set up an ensemble for his own interpretation of music - from the heavenly to the earthy. With a wide-ranging repertoire from opera, operetta, lieder, pop, jazz, musicals and Spanish songs, he and his ensemble offer their audiences a musical journey through time. The basic line-up is song, guitar and piano but, depending on the occasion, it can be extended to form a chamber sextet. Famous artists - such as Denette Whitter, the pianist based in Nuremberg, Rudolf Schwarz, the composer and pianist based in Lucerne, and Adeline Marty-Manikam, the choir director and pianist based in Feusisberg - accompany Andre Gloor in concert and in performance. His permanent accompanists also include the Karlsruhe-based Rainer Armbrust, the conductor, pianist and composer, and the Zurich-based Sandra Foschi, the guitarist. In November 2003, Andre Gloor & Ensemble successfully took part in the final of the Petit Prix Walo in Lucerne. November 2005 with Tyrolis Music he released his Debut Album 'Amore mio' Top Producers like Nella Martinetti who won the European Songcontest 1988 with Celine Dion (Ne partez pas sans moi) and Tommy Mustac, Antonio Mastrogiovanni. $9.99 The 1952 NBC series Victory at Sea was one of the earliest network documentary series to capture the public's imagination in a serious way, and one of the more enduring offshoots was the music by Richard Rodgers, which was recorded by RCA-Victor in what ultimately became a series of four LPs. Rodgers was chosen by series producer Henry Salamon based on his being the "leading American composer of his day," a somewhat exalted (though understandable) judgement for a man who was most closely associated with the Broadway stage and Hollywood.
