Closed Captioned; Standard Screen; Soundtrack English From the Overlook Hotel in THE SHINING to the Bates Motel in PSYCHO, inns haven't gotten a good rap in the world of books and film. In THE LOST ROOM, the Sunshine Motel doesn't fare much better. Decades ago, supernatural forces transformed Room 10 at the motel into a cache of magical power in which each object in the room can do something special. Detective Joe Miller (Peter Krause, SIX FEET UNDER) discovers a mysterious key that changes his life. His daughter (Elle Fanning, BABEL) disappears into the room, and the key is the only thing that can help Joe find her again. But he isn't the only one who wants the precious objects, causing hordes of obsessive collectors to descend on him. With its labyrinthine plot and imaginative premise, THE LOST ROOM garnered praise from critics and audiences alike. This Sci-Fi channel miniseries also stars Julianna Margulies (ER), Kevin Pollak (THE USUAL SUSPECTS), and Roger Bart (DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES). Lost Room Reviews: 4 stars out of 5 -- "THE LOST ROOM is complex but fascinating as it explores the origins of the room and the objects of power which have come from it."-- Paul Spragg, Ultimate DVD Lost Room | List Price | $14.98 (You save $4.99) | | Studio | Lions Gate Home Entertainment | | Orig Year | 2006 | | All Time Sales Rank | 8749 | | CD Universe Part number | 7374662 | | Catalog number | 21176 | | Discs | 2 | | Release Date | Apr 03, 2007 | | Rating | Not Rated | | Running Time | 300 Minutes | | Additional Info | Widescreen; Subtitled | | Movie Details | Color; Widescreen; Subtitled; 2-Disc Set |

$8.95 Loosely based on the 1960 Rat Pack film of the same name, OCEAN'S 11 is a hi-tech crime comedy that features a top-notch cast. Con man Danny Ocean (George Clooney) has just been released from a four-year jail term and decides that his first order of business is robbing three Las Vegas casinos owned by the slimy Terry Benedict (Andy Garcia). To pull off this nearly impossible task, he quickly assembles an eclectic crew--including a card shark (Brad Pitt), a pickpocket (Matt Damon), an explosives expert (Don Cheadle), and an aging gambler (Carl Reiner)--and seeks financial backing from a freewheeling casino mogul (Elliott Gould) who holds a grudge against Benedict. However, it soon becomes apparent that Ocean has more at stake than money and his newly found freedom--his ex-wife, Tess (Julia Roberts), just happens to be Benedict's new girlfriend. Can Ocean steal back Tess's heart and more than a hundred million dollars at the same time?

$9.99 With his new apprentice, Amanda (Shawnee Smith), the puppet master behind the cruel, intricate games that have terrified a community and baffled police has once again eluded capture and vanished. While city detectives scramble to locate him, Doctor Lynn Denlon (Bahar Soomekh) and Jeff (Angus Macfadyen) are unaware that they are about to become the latest pawns on this vicious chessboard. Tobin Bell and Dina Meyer costar. Extras include audio commentaries and deleted scenes.
In 2004, a low-budget horror film about a man who put people with moral failings into grisly, murderous situations became a huge hit. In 2005, the sequel scored again, upping the body count and the terror. In 2006, the franchise continued, with plenty of gore as well as an emotional story line that delved into the psychological makeup of the main characters. As SAW II concluded, Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) was dying. But that doesn't mean his penchant for playing games of torture and violence is ending. In SAW III, the murders start occurring again, and Kerry (Dina Meyer) is back on the case, although she thinks this time it might be the work of a copycat. She's only partly right: Amanda (Shawnee Smith), the only victim to have survived both movies, has joined Jigsaw as his apprentice, leading the way through a terrifying game involving Lynn (Bahar Soomekh), a doctor in an unhappy marriage, and Jeff (Angus Macfadyen), a distraught ...

$10.25 Clint Eastwood's early-21st-century output has endeared him to Academy Awards voters, and he makes another bid for their attention with this tale of the flag-raising at Iwo Jima. Eastwood cuts back and forth between the battle that led to the flag being firmly planted in enemy soil, and the tour undertaken by three of the flag-planting Marines (played by Ryan Phillippe, Jesse Bradford, and Adam Beach) in the aftermath of World War II. The re-creation of Iwo Jima features impressive APOCALYPSE NOW-style battle scenes, the air full of thick plumes of smoke, zinging bullets, and pounding explosions. But the most interesting part of the movie comes as the three men are paraded in front of the American public, as they vacillate between embarrassment and anger at the public relations campaign they find themselves embroiled in, while also pleading with the public to help provide funds for the soldiers who are still at war.
Eastwood uses a script co-written by CRASH director Paul Haggis and a source book ...

$8.79 Old ladies, ventriloquist dummies, decrepit small-towns, and dolls are all exploited for their full creepy potential in DEAD SILENCE, a relatively innocent but thoroughly scary horror feature from the makers of SAW. After a heavily stylized black-and-white opening credit sequence that shows the story's central ghost, Mary Shaw, constructing her beloved ventriloquist dolls back in her heyday, the film transports viewers to the present. As newlyweds Jamie (Ryan Kwanten) and Lisa Ashen putter lovingly about their apartment far from their hometown of Raven's Fair, it is clear that something bad is about to happen. This dread is only further cemented when a knock on the door leads the lovebirds to discover an unmarked box containing a worn but eerily lifelike ventriloquist's dummy. Lisa is all too friendly towards the doll and gets what's coming to her when Jamie goes out to pick up some takeout, returning to find his wife's mangled body (minus her tongue) propped up like the dummy seemingly responsible for her death.
With detective Jim Lipton (Donnie Wahlberg) on his heels, and a very ...

$19.99 Slowly, methodically, and convincingly, Robert Greenwald (OUTFOXED: RUPERT MURDOCH'S WAR ON JOURNALISM) presents proof that George W. Bush's administration lied to the American Public, the United Nations, and the world, about Iraq's weapons of mass destruction and links to terrorism. A number of respected talking heads are interviewed, including former officials of the CIA, military, and White House, and--most damagingly--Bush-appointed weapons inspector David Kay. Their conclusions reveal that the neoconservative Bush team ignored the carefully assembled reports of their intelligence agencies, while untrustworthy Iraqi "defectors" were taken at their word by both the press and the Pentagon. Unlike Michael Moore in FAHRENHEIT 911, Greenwald relies less on emotion to make his points. Rather, he lets his experts expose each lie, one by one, via crosscutting with footage of press conferences and speeches given by President Bush, Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld, and national security adviser Condoleezza Rice. ...
