Nintendo (Dual-Screen) Brothers In Arms DS

 More please!
One of the most impressive games I've played on DS. This game creates a very good sense of being on the battlefield and mixes things up well with tank and jeep driving segments. It really is a fun game and hard to put down, and unfortunately because of this I am probably already well past the half way point. I hope the remaining missions are as good as those I've beaten, and I'm anxious to see how the unlocked higher difficulty level plays. I'm already looking forward to a sequel, as the only thing really wrong with the game seems to be its somewhat short length.

 One of the better games on the DS
Brothers in Arms is one of the better third-person shooters (a small field it must be said) in the DS arena. The graphics and sound and adequate in portraying the war theme, though they are not the best that the DS has to offer. The player can control vehicles and gun nests plus an array of weapons like a sniper rifle and bazooka. The interface and control are intuitive but extended game play can cause hand fatigue. Camera angles can sometimes make it difficult to see or hide behind walls. While far from perfect, the game is better than the sum of its parts. Metroid is a superior game in all facets, but surprisingly I prefer this game to Metroid.
