Another victim of editing
The original "The Natural" shown in movie theaters in the 1980s was magnificent! Unfortunately, this is not the same film as the one released in movie theaters in 1984.

A must for the collection
At times it is a little cliched and perhaps tugs a little too much at the heartstrings, but a wonderful movie that can be watched over and over again.

Great and entertaining
I think that this movie was a great success. This is one of the movies were it is almost as good as the book, even though there is a little surprise at the end.

Redford shines throughout the entire movie!
I love a good baseball movie and this outshines them all and in my opinion rules above all others that were ever made.
