Best Movie of All Time I collect movies as a hobby. I have more than walmarts I bet. I really love movies that I can put myself into. There is none as good as Samson & Deliah. It tells of love and God and Romance and nothing in this world can beat that. This is my most favorite of all. Submitted by showard33 (Concord,NC) Was This Review Helpful? Classic This is one of my favorite movies. The DVD picture quality is just ok but fine for watching this great film. Perfect until they put this movie out using up to date remastering techniques. Maybe BluRay? Just wishful thinking on my part. Buy it and enjoy!! Submitted by snielsen1 (Cape Coral, Fl) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo

$9.69 DAVID AND BATHSHEBA brings to life what is possibly the most dramatic story in the Old Testament. Gregory Peck stars as King David, a devout servant of God who is having serious marital difficulties with his wife Michal. Recently returned home from the wars with the Ark of the Covenant in tow, David spies hottie Bathsheba (Susan Hayward) bathing on a nearby rooftop, and in no time at all the two lovebirds are tossing their togas to consume their passion. Of course, there are a couple small hitches--Bathsheba's husband for one, and the wrath of God. With a drought upon the land and King David's flock demanding that Bathsheba be stoned to death for her sins, dashing David ...
$9.29 The boozing, smoking, cussing captain of a tramp steamer, Charlie Allnut, saves prim and proper Rose Sayer after her brother is killed by German soldiers at the beginning of World War I in Africa. Many quarrels later, the two set sail on the Ulonga-Bora in order to sabotage a German ship. Based on the 1935 novel by C.S. Forester, the wonderful combination of Hepburn and Bogie (who won an Oscar) makes this a thoroughly enjoyable blend of comedy and adventure. Later came the book (and Clint Eastwood film) White Hunter, Black Heart, which chronicled Peter Viertel's experiences observing Huston throughout the making of the picture.
NTSC/Region 0. Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn star in one of the greatest motion pictures of all-time, The African Queen directed by John Huston. Bogart won an Academy Award for his portrayal of Charlie Allnut, a hard drinking river trader who offers to take Rose (Hepburn), the sister of a murdered missionary, from the remains of her destroyed village back to civilization. They encounter an adventure together that leads to romance. The African Queen was nominated for five Oscars ...
