| | Robyn Burris Finding My Way CD Robyn Burris Discography of CDs
Finding My Way - This CD has been all about Finding My Way, at first I was trying to find the confidence to actually do something with a song I wrote. Luckily, I was singing at a wedding and a friend said, "Robyn, I'd buy a CD of that song." Well fate answered and I ran into a former student of mine who was trying to break into the record producing business. I'd had the song floating around in my head for three years, but at that moment I knew this was a chance I needed to take. I remember telling him if it stinks we never had this conversation. Well it didn't stink and with new found confidence the songs began to flow. I was able to find my way through the songs I was writing. Releasing some old demons and celebrating some true blessings. After a demo of a couple of originals and covers I realized a choice had to be made, do I leap into the music world without a net or do I keep the status quo? I had to find my way through the doubt and fear and guilt and realize even at 36 you can follow your dream. So here we are, I am still finding my way through this new and wonderful experience. I know that without ever trying all you can do is fail, so I will try. | | Nitty Gritty Dirt Band Speed Of Life CD (2009)
Finding My Way CD music
$15.15 Speed of Life is the first studio album by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band in five years and celebrates the group's 43rd anniversary with three of its original members still intact (and no, the number 43 was not a typo). It also finds them reduced once more to a quartet with the departure of multi-instrumentalist Jimmy Ibbotson. That said, the band has lost none of its immediacy, power, or expert presentation of both original material and songs from some of Nashville's finest. Released by Sugar Hill Records (who distributes their NGDB Records imprint), the group recorded the set live in the studio. Produced by veterans George Massenburg and Jon Randall Stewart, this set sounds inspired, fresh, and like the NGDB has been utterly rejuvenated. It combines the old-/good-timey feel of their concert performances -- without adding American folk or country standards -- and the poignancy of their best studio recordings. Jeff Hanna, Jimmie Fadden, Bob Carpenter, and John McEuen were aided on this set by bassist Glenn Worf, guitarist Richard Bennett, and drummer Vince Santoro, as well as backing vocalists ...

| | Oh Napier In The Land Of 666 CD (2006)
Finding My Way CD music
$9.49 I am very proud that my music has finally made it out of the hills of Kentucky. I sing because it makes me happy and I like to share my songs with people who like to listen. I have wrote books and newspaper articles for several years. I have sang at many places all for free. If it was up to me this would also be free, but I have to make money in order to make this music available to you all. I am not doing this to become a star. Basically I am filling up my free time with something I like to do now that I have quit drinking. Being kicked off the local radio station on several occasions and even some newspapers that I have written for I feel that I have finally found an outlet to get my music heard in other places. If you are expecting a big fancy band don't buy this album. I am the real thing with my music. I have no special equipment, no manager or nothing like that. I write my songs about the people I meet and the situations that I have been in. All I would need to do to play you a song on this cd is just to have a place for me and my old flat top guitar. I got the guitar from a pawn shop for $30.00 and all the songs were originally recorded on a cassette recorder. Still I think you would be happy by purchasing this CD. Because you will find that this is the real way that music got its beginning and roots from past generations in the hills of Kentucky. Some of these tunes are based on the tunes that my Grandma sang me to sleep with, and I am proud to keep this style of music alive. Thanks, OHto read more about me visit http://ohnapier.comSongs doing Great on the Soundclick Charts as six of them are in the top five and Four songs have been number 1.
