| | Andy Loflin Scattered CD Andy Loflin Discography of CDs
It has been a long time in the making, around fifteen months to be exact, but all the hard work has paid off and produced one of the most exciting and diverse albums I've made in years. When work on the project started back in July of 2005 I had one goal in mind: to make an album with no sonic limits. I wanted to be able to freely create music without the Singer / Songwriter genre limiting the creative process. The result of this open mindset are twelve uniquely different songs all brought together on one disc aptly titled Scattered.Andy Loflin Biography:Music has always been a part of me. I realized that the moment I heard “Revolution” by The Beatles I knew my life had changed, something inside me turned on and it’s been running ever since. At fourteen I picked up my first guitar and instantly began writing and recording music. Now over a decade later I’ve done everything I could have ever hoped for; released a number of original albums, played over two hundred live performances at venues like The Masquerade in Atlanta GA and The BI-LO Center in Greenville SC, showcased for major record labels at the Hard Rock Café in Atlanta GA, had a number of songs make it to radio stations, I even got a chance to sing at the world famous Carnegie Hall in New York City. With all these accomplishments already under my belt at 25 I have very little regrets. In 2005 I left a regionally successful rock band, Remains of the Day, and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. Now I’m in the studio and on the road revisiting my roots while making my first solo recordings since 1997. At heart I am a singer/songwriter and that is what I’m putting into my music, at times it’s simple and at other times the music is elaborate but at the core it is all just about the song. $17.59 Anyone familiar with the industrial-metal band's dark sense of irony should take one look at the title of Rammstein's 2009 album LIEBE IST FUR ALLE DA ("Love Is There For Everyone") and conclude that this one is a mean monster. Combining the tightness and punch of their 1998 album SEHNSUCHT with the musicianship and elaborate textures of their later work, LIEBE IST is a grand achievement, skillfully dividing its time between razor sharp metal rockers like "B********" or the opening theme song "Rammlied" and ...

Scattered album
$7.99 The Sea Dragons are really the story of one man’s creative vision. Darryl Thurston, the band’s singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has emerged as a creator of infinitely catchy yet substantive pop/rock, rooted in the classic style of the 60’s and ‘70’s but with a contemporary power and edge that makes it sound fresh and new. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Darryl grew up with the sounds of AM radio, with artists like the Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Three Dog Night leaving indelible impressions upon him. He began playing drums at the age of nine and his aunt, a backup singer herself, whose house was constantly filled with musicians and artists, continually turned him on to new records and new artists. At 14, Darryl got his first guitar and a 25-cent chord chart and began to get into 70’s guitar heroes like Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page, David Gilmour. In his mid-teens, Darryl re-located to Tennessee, where he started playing in cover bands, playing everything from hard rock to top 40. At 21, Darryl moved to New York in order to join the thriving hard rock scene and with his band, Band of Thieves played the key clubs, Limelight and the Cat Club, earning many positive notices in the press sharing the cover of “Metal Studs” magazine with Motley Crue. In the ‘90’s Darryl began working as a session guitarist for the top studios and jingle houses in New York. His work has been on HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, ESPN, etc. and his guitar could be heard blasting through the speakers at Madison Square Garden when the NY Knicks came onto the court. He also played for a while with The Boomdogs and shared ...

$11.49 The man who goes by the name Captain RW has always beencommitted to defining his own sound. A veteran showman and genuine entertainer in the classic sense of the word, he delights audiences with a blend of standards, jazz, easy rock, inspirationals, and Vegas-style showstoppers. “We’re producing our music with the sounds we want, not with what some A&R professional thinks is the industry’s fancy,” explains RW. On every track of self-produced CDs like “Someone to Share My Rainbow,” you’ll find traces of his long and winding musical path as well as a sincerity that is hard to come by these days.Captain RW began his performing career playing piano, organ, and guitar ...
