They did it. They really did it. It's over. Now we won't hear any new Moes Haven music until 2012.After recording 365 albums and releasing 12 of them in 2006, Moes Haven is taking a long break. Of course, Matt Farley and Tom Scalzo are not going to stop writing amazing, groundbreaking music. They're already working on the follow-up to DECEMBER. But they won't release another song until five years from now. Why?Who knows! There's no point in trying to understand what motivates Moes Haven. Lots of people wondered why the boys felt the need to force themselves to record so much music in 2006. They offered no explanation on than that they thought it seemed like a fun project. Was it fun?"Yeah," says Matt Farley. "It was lots of fun. And it forced us to write probably 100 more good songs than we would have otherwise recorded this year. Besides that, there are more than 1000 terrible songs that we also wouldn't have recorded. But those songs are funny too...not that I'd want to let anyone listen to any of them."With DECEMBER, Moes Haven goes out with a bang. You'd think they would have phoned in the last release of the year. But this album finds the boys continuing to challenge themselves. It's very difficult to fathom. If a band comes out with two albums in one year, it's noteworthy. Moes Haven released twelve in one year. And they were all recorded in 2006. It's truly amazing. And besides these twelve albums, there are the 10 others that were released in 2004 and 2005. Those album were recorded between 2000 and 2005. Not quite as prolific as '06, but still impressive. So Farley and Scalzo are taking a break. They're giving the world a chance to catch up with these most impressive, historic years that will one day be recognized by the world for what it is. Until then, Moes Haven will continue to create anonymously. Anyone who can't wait five years to hear their new music, listen to "Moes Haven's Five Year Plan" for a detailed description of where new Moes Haven music can be found in 2010. It's destined to become the greatest treasure hunt in the history of rock music! Moes Haven December Songs | 1. | Dig In! |

December music CDs
$17.75 Tom was born in Norwalk, Connecticut but has lived in California and Maryland, eventually finding his way back to Connecticut where he lives with his wife, Sue, and their four dogs, Buster, Bettie, Buffy, and Bubba. Tom has always loved music, and played the trumpet as a child. It wasn't until Tom picked up a guitar in college that he found his true calling - music. Tom has over fifteen years experience in early-childhood education. He began his career as an aide while he was still in high school. Tom progressed from aide to head teacher to music specialist, and is now performing his music full-time.In addition to performing with his band, the Tic-Tac-Toes at concerts and larger venues, Tom visits many schools, libraries, festivals, and camps on a regular basis. Tom's repertoire includes original songs that he has written with his wife, Sue, an eigth-grade math teacher, as well as traditional favorites.Tom's music is very interactive and is intended to get children moving, singing, laughing, dancing, and having lots of good old-fashioned fun! Parents say that Tom's music is never saccharine or preachy. While kids love to listen to Tom sing about his dirty room or about creatures under the sea, their parents love to listen to music that does not talk down to their kids (or to them)! One parent told Tom, "your music is the only kids' music that I don't get sick of hearing over and over again!"Tom's first release, "I Like Being a Kid" won a Parents' Choice award in 2000, and his latest release, "Moving Along" received a Parents' Choice Award in early 2003. "Moving Along" is also being considered for a NAPPA (National Parenting Publications) Award. Tom Weber has been featured on television and in numerous newspapers and magazines, including Parenting Magazines List of Great New Kids' Music. Below are just some of the reviews Tom has received:From Parents' Choice-...his sunny voice and well-integrated silly bits invite listeners to play and sing along.Lynne Heffley, 2003From Nashville Parent-My kids and I love listening to music while tooling around in the car together, and when we first heard Tom Weber's cut of "Five Little Monkeys," we shared lots of laughs, too. He pretends to be the mischievous chimps making fun of the alligator in sneering nah-nah-nah-nah-nah fashion until snap! The alligator chomps them down one by one. This playfulness is found ...
