| | Sally Oldfield Easy CD Sally Oldfield Discography of CDs
Though Sally Oldfield's second album still contains some of the prog rock elements that made her debut so memorable, it also includes its fair share of pop gems, such as the ethereal, silvery harmonies of "You Set My Gypsy Blood Free" and "The Boulevard Song," which both conjure a distinct, romantic European atmosphere. The title track, with its shimmering vibes, is pure laid-back easy listening, and the darkly mysterious "Hide and Seek" is a rare experiment in folk-disco.

Easy album
$15.75 LIVE AT CARNEGIE HALL is a two-disc in-concert recording by Renaissance. "Ocean Gypsy," "Carpet of the Sun," and "Mother Russia" are among the tracks.
The fourth great album in a row for Renaissance, Live at Carnegie Hall was recorded at three concerts on June 20, 21, and 22, 1975, at New York's Carnegie Hall. Although no one could have known it at the time, it also marked the high point of the group's influence and acceptance -- waiting in the wings, at just about the time this album was released the following year, was the punk rock boom and, a little after that, the disco boom, which would quickly sour audiences and critics on progressive rock. Recorded on tour ahead of the release of Scheherazade and Other Stories, this was the most ambitious concert venture to come out of the progressive rock boom of the 1970s up to that time, featuring the group accompanied by the (uncredited) New York Philharmonic, whose playing shows up on several numbers, but is mostly here for "Song of Scheherazade," which took up one side of the original double ...
| | Kate Bush Lionheart (Japan LP Sleeve) CD (1978) (Import) Japan; Mini LP Sleeve
Easy CD music
$41.79 When EMI signed the teenage prodigy Kate Bush, the label claimed that in order to nurture her talent, it wouldn't release her first album until she had a few years to grow up. As a result, her debut, THE KICK INSIDE, didn't see daylight for three years. On the other hand, her second album, LIONHEART, was rush-released only nine months after the success of its predecessor. Fortunately, Kate still had some leftover songs from the debut session, helping make ...

Easy songs
$42.39 Kate Bush was never the most prolific of artists; this 1993 album and its attendant singles formed her complete '90s output. Her recordings are carefully conceived, densely orchestrated, and finely tuned, and THE RED SHOES is no exception. Though spontaneity may not be her strong suit, her records are never dull or self-indulgent.
Among Kate Bush's most relaxed recordings, THE RED SHOES features a number of guest appearances, notably Eric Clapton, Nigel Kennedy, ...
| | Kate Bush Sensual World (Japan LP Sleeve) CD (1989) (Import) Japan; Mini LP Sleeve
Easy album
$42.39 THE SENSUAL WORLD will appeal to those who like their pop seasoned with some world music. During the '80s, some of Kate Bush's most successful collaborations were those with Peter Gabriel ("Games Without Frontiers," "Don't Give Up"), and Gabriel's habit of appropriating world music must have certainly rubbed off. THE SENSUAL WORLD combines the best of Kate Bush's jazzier elements with contributions by some of the most accomplished musicians in the world. Featured artists include violinist ...

$7.59 Also available in a 3-pack with FACE THE MUSIC and DISCOVERY.
1976's A NEW WORLD RECORD is both a classic of commercial '70s pop and an archetypal ELO album. From the outer-space synths and rich orchestrations that open the album to Jeff Lynne's meticulous production and Beatlesque melodies, A NEW WORLD RECORD is magnificent ear candy. Both ambitious enough to appeal to "serious" rock fans and ultra-catchy enough to sound terrific on Top 40 radio (the plaintively gorgeous, McCartney-like "Telephone Line" and the anthemic "Livin' Thing" were well-deserved smashes), ELO was one of the few '70s bands whose appeal covered both the FM and AM spectrums. The album even resurrects "Do Ya," a classic single by Lynne's former band, the Move, ...

$13.15 Saving Arcadia was originally founded in 2004 in Torrance California For a year and a half, they played shows all over Southern California, gaining a respectable following. Then in 2005, founding member Davey GoLucky made the decision to move back to Washington State to be closer to his family. While attending a show in downtown Olympia, he met a band by the name of Fallacy. At the time, Kenny was playing drums in Fallacy. When he heard Davey\'s lyrics and vocals, he knew they had to do something together. Time and time again, their plans to meet up and write music fell through, and they eventually lost contact. Then, in late 2006, a wilderness survival course was being held at Davey\'s house. One of the participants ...
