| World's Best
Sarah Brightman is the best female vocalist in the world; without question. A fine CD for those who appreciate fine music.

| The Perfect CD, The Perfect Year
Oh what an excellent CD. Andrew Lloyd Webber seems to have an endless store of Sarah gems stashed somewhere in a goldmine. All of the songs are good, but they are more pop sounding than is the norm. "Think of Me" is simple, but has a really unique ending. "The Perfect Year" is excellent, and its lyrics stirring. This song should join the yearly standard "Auld Lang Syne" as an end of year must. "Probably on Thursday" is great as well; its title and theme vaguely reminding me of "Tell Me on a Sunday" from another collection. The hightlight of the disc, though, is "Make Up My Heart"...it's hard to describe, but it's just excellent; the vocals, lyrics, and arrangement. The only thing that this disc is missing is the Spanish version of "Amigos Para Siempre" (yes, it does exist), otherwise than that, is is first rate stuff; definitely no barrel scraping fare.
