being introduced to hip hop culture at an early age and having a natural attraction to music, foe-teen began exploring the avenues of dance and rap. joining a dance group which soon became a rap group, foe-teen became well known in the streets of los angeles for his lyrical style and delivery. after getting some lyrical direction from some of the west coasts most well respected undrground hip hop producers(fat jack,brian "brick" walls,jerome burkes) and representing with one of the west coasts most massive underground rap groups,phunky dialect, foe-teen ventures off on a solo expedition that is thought provoking, satirical, whimsical, and most of all just plain bangin'! on his new album acclaim and prestige foe-teen displays a host of lyrical talent which defines his ability to represent the west to the fullest extent. underground hip hop will be defined by a new sound once this album reaches the masses, due to the content of the vocals and the boombacity of the beats for each cut. bringing which seems to be a desired but unpopular format to his delivery, foe-teen never lets up for one second, stringing lines together as though he doesn't need to take a breath. for instance, take the cut what it is!, a melodic bass thump that repeats a three count that seems to hypnotize you as the hook phases in "what it is, is what it ain't , what it could be but it cain't be the pretty picture many try to paint, never fair comin' outta nowhere, toyin' wit your dispair to see how far you will go to take it there!" for sure not your average content for a hook but the delivery is what makes it extraordinary. being his second album release acclaim and prestige has the potential to become a hallmark of great mention in the future generations of hip hop.

The GoodFellaz are Sleep and Dubb. Sleep is a man of vision, producer, writer and artist whom moved back home in 1997 to pursue a music career after serving in the U.S. Navy. Sleep has produced as well as performed on a nationally released album by Family Affiliated' titled 'It's Our Time'. His production can also be heard on one of Cleveland's local recording artist's Romey Rome's album. Sleep's grimey style of rap puts you in the mind of Fiend, mixed with a little bit of Mystical and the lyrical styles of Trick Daddy. His southern style of rap combined with Dubb's chemistry will prove to be one half of the greatest group to ever hit the streets.

Dubb is the charismatic strength of the group. Widely known for his gold grill, he is also a strong writer and artist. Dubb has performed with the Gold album selling, National recording artists 'Poetic Hustlas' on the song 'The Land'. His rugged matter-of-fact type style will put you in the mind of 8-Ball, Scarface and/or a little Mr. Mike. He has also dabbled in the production by co-producing one of the tracks on Tha GoodFellaz album entitled 'Comin' down'. This is just another reason why the chemistry of these two beasts is simply untouchable.

The two, crossed paths in 1998 when they along with several other artists formed the group 'Higher Life'. An EP was released and made noise on the streets. The group eventually separated and went their own ways.
