That show was aweseome!•BIO•Angry Panda is Timmy Miano, a 26 year-old singer/songwriter who lives in Springfield, Missouri. He has 4 albums, a shiny red guitar, a loyal following and a big fat mouth. He has been performing punk, folk and country songs under the name Angry Panda since 1998, both as a solo act and with his group, the Permanent Substitutes. Angry Panda has performed at bars, festivals, college campuses and coffee houses as a headliner, a warm up act, an MC, an all-night performer, and a regular at open mike nights in St. Louis and in Springfield. He's been busy.During the summer of 2006 he booked a ten-day tour and traveled across the Midwest- from Springfield to Lafayette, IN, and back through Chicago, IL- in a van with no air conditioning to promote his two most recent albums, “Hey Mr. Meano!” and the self-produced “Golden Garbage- Rarities, Demos and B-Sides 1986-2006”. He played at The Way Out Club and Shlafly's Tap Room in St. Louis, Cal's Bar in Chicago, and Downtown Records in Lafayette as well as other places. It went very well. Lou Whitne produced Angry Panda’s 2005 album, “Hey, Mr. Meano!” at The Studio in Springfield, Missouri. It sounds very good. People with both low- and high-speed internet connections like to purchase it from one of the many music download services available through http://www.CDBaby.com, including Apple iTunes, Napster, and Rhapsody.
