Nosotros Los Pobres Movie Review Average Rating: (5 out of 5 stars) Superior in all aspect This is a tremendous movie, rice in culture and struggle of families who just want to take care of their loved ones and the struggles that they have to abide in order to survive. Rich in music, drama, tense at times, but with a richness in a society where some people take things for granted today. This is a must see first and then the second part "Nosostros los Rico".! Nosotros Los Pobres review
$10.09 THE EINSTEIN OF SEX is maverick German director Rosa von Praunheim's attempt to illuminate the life and work of Dr. Magnus Hirschfeld, a gay German Jew living in 19th-century Berlin. Hirschfeld's realization of his homosexuality in his teen years leads to his research on the matter, which results in his establishment of the first gay political group and the first medical practice for gays, the Institute of Sexual Science, which is destroyed by the Nazis along with most of his life's work. Von Praunheim's film celebrates this important figure in gay history with great detail, humor, and respect.
Long before the Stonewall Riots, Masters and Johnson or even the Kinsey Report, there was Dr. Magnus Herschfeld. A gay German Jew living in 19th-century Berlin, Hirschfeld didn't just champion gay rights - he discovered them. Now Rosa von Praunheim, the firebrand of German cinema, ...

$13.29 Alfred Hitchcock had already begun work on REAR WINDOW when he took on the project to direct DIAL M FOR MURDER, based on the successful play by Frederick Knott. For the film, Hitchcock chose to cast his favorite leading lady of the time, Grace Kelly, as the embattled Margot Wendice. Kelly would also star in REAR WINDOW and Hitchcock's subsequent TO CATCH A THIEF. It wasn't Hitchcock's preference to shoot DIAL M FOR MURDER in Warnercolor 3D (the cameras were large and unwieldly), and the film is seldom screened in 3D, but Hitchcock's use of the technique is notable for its service to the story rather than just being a gimmick. In the film Margot Wendice is a wealthy heiress whose playboy husband, Tony (Ray Milland), recognizes his dependence on his wife's fortune. When Tony begins to suspect he is losing Margot's affection to writer ...

$29.29 After creating a classic with THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, director Henry Selick crafts the first stop-motion animated feature to be filmed in three dimensions. Dakota Fanning voices a girl who finds a parallel universe lurking behind a door in her home, but the new world isn't all it initially appears. Based on Nail Gaiman's novel, CORALINE promises to be a favorite for both children and adults.
As covetous children are often warned: "Be careful what you wish for." It’s this very cautionary wisdom that sets the stage for Henry Selick’s CORALINE, an eerily eye-popping stop-motion animation tale of fractured dreams and families made whole. As the films opens, Coraline Jones (voiced by Dakota Fanning) and her parents (Teri Hatcher, John Hodgman) have moved into the Pink Palace, a once-vibrant boarding house that’s turned drab and dilapidated. As her parents work feverishly on a new gardening catalog, the bored and belligerent Coraline is admonished to explore her new world’s possibilities. Along the way she meets her fellow tenants, including two aging English showgirls and a mouse-training Russian acrobat, as well as an outcast neighborhood boy named Wybie. But it is a mysterious hidden door that most piques Coraline’s interest--a gateway to a parallel world where her "other" parents and neighbors live only to see Coraline well fed and endlessly entertained. All is not cakes and carnivals for Coraline, though, and the black buttons that have replaced the eyes of these otherworldly imitations hint at darker intentions. When these intentions are revealed, Cora and a friendly magical cat use their wits and willpower to defeat Coraline’s wicked "other mother" and restore balance in ...
