Standard Screen; Additional Footage; Soundtrack English; Director's Comments Fondly commemorating and gently poking fun at the trends, fashions, and attitudes that made the decade of the 1970s so distinct, THAT 70s SHOW chronicles the rites of passage of a group of teens growing up in the Wisconsin suburbs. Eric Forman (Topher Grace) lives with his parents, his no-nonsense dad, Red (Kurtwood Smith), and his somewhat loopy mother, Kitty (Debra Jo Rupp), and hangs out with his sometimes girlfriend, Donna (Laura Prepon), cheerleader Jackie (Mila Kunis), hunky Kelso (Ashton Kutcher), conspiracy theorist Hyde (Danny Masterson), and clueless exchange student Fez (Wilmer Valderrama). The show revolves around the ever-shifting social dynamics of the teens and their families, and despite the silliness of the sitcom situations, the show touches on serious issues (absent fathers, marital problems), and at times creates a surprising poignancy. In the sixth season, Eric and Donna debate where to go to college, while Kelso tries to become a cop. This season also features guest appearances from Luke Wilson, Seth Green, Alyson Hannigan, Shannon Elizabeth, Brooke Shields, and Billy Dee Williams. That '70s Show - Season Six Movie Review Average Rating: (3 out of 5 stars) PACKAGING RIP-OFF! I would never fault That 70's Show for quality or content. It was one of the best shows Fox ever aired... will there ever be another Kitty or another Fez?
But I DO fault Fox or Carsey-Werner for the extreme packaging rip-off with this, Season 6. The last 5 seasons have all been 4 DVDs. Each DVD was in a separate slipcase. With Season 6, there are only two separate slipcases... 2 DVDs are in each slipcase.
I know this is a little thing but I take great pride in displaying my hundreds of TV-episode DVD packages. Why did Fox make this change with only 3 more seasons to get to market? Surely this saves them only a few pennies. I would have gladly paid to have the full, nice packaging, even if Season 6 cost another bucks or two. Very, very disappointed with Fox. (Of course, they are the ones who screwed around with Mary Tyler Moore, Bob Newhart, and Dynasty. Thankfully now Paramount is bringing out more Dynasty.)
(The same thing happened with Moonlighting - not a Fox show. But seasons 1 - 4 had such nice packaging, and then season 5 was in cheap packaging. Sort of blow the who experience for me.) Submitted by tcfoxy (Traverse City, Michigan) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

$31.79 THAT 70S SHOW is an enormously popular and hip situation comedy that built its success on the vast comedic potential the decade of 70s has to offer, with its seemingly endless wealth of hilarious styles and pop-culture references. But the show has also consistently delivered complex themes and surprisingly subtle storylines, addressing everything from the demise of the family unit to the decisions and dilemmas faced by teenagers everywhere, all without adopting a moralistic or simplistic viewpoint. At the heart of the series is Eric Forman (Topher Grace), who lives with his parents Red (Kurtwood Smith) and Kitty (Debra Jo Rupp) in a suburban Wisconsin town. Their basement is ...
