| | Hochii Bullets Through The Speaker CD - Import Hochii Discography of CDs
Anaheim’s very own Hochii has been involved with two former bands, Students of Life and The Verbs. Both had the potential to shake up the minds of all youth, but like all good things, they came to an end. Embarking on a solo mission in 2002 was a change that left live musicians behind to move onto an MC/DJ collaboration. This collaboration was embraced by Technicali Sound which further justified what people had been telling him the whole time - go solo. Although his fervor and stubbornness for being backed by live instrumentation was telling, he soon came to grips with what was laid out before him the whole time, his love for progression. So forward he went. Combining politics and humor, Hochii provides nothing but himself. Nothing but a boy seeking out and defining his own truths - and having fun while at it. Working with artists such as Sean Price (Boot Camp Click), Casual (Heiroglyphics), RBX (Dogg Pound), 2-Mex & LMNO (Visionaries), Trek Life, Puba Don, Technicali’s very own LD and Ariano, Flict, Discreet Merchants, Rallo and long time friend Kanibal have made Bullets Through The Speaker one of the most anticipated albums of 2007. The 'Fresh Coast' single is slowly becoming a west coast anthem that has many youth singing it’s chorus out loud. Whether live or through your speakers, Hochii’s holding it down for his native Anaheim. Bullets Through The Speaker Music Hochii Bullets Through The Speaker Songs | 1. | Bullets Through The Speaker |

Bullets Through The Speaker album
$8.09 Diamond D had quietly provided some exciting production work and made strides within the rap music industry and community throughout the early '90s, but his name didn't become immediately recognizable until his classic guest appearance rapping on A Tribe Called Quest's "Show Business" ("Take it from Diamond/It's like mountain climbing/When it comes to rhyming/You gotta put your time in"), off their masterful second album, The Low End Theory. Even amid vintage verses by such lauded hip-hop company as Tribe's Q-Tip and Phife and Brand Nubian's Lord Jamar and Sadat X, something about Diamond D's forthright and rock-solid, but totally laid-back, style stood out. Hip-hop heads waiting to hear more from him were rewarded with a veritable wealth of treasures when Stunts, Blunts & Hip-Hop, Diamond D's debut album, was released the following year. The album instantly became -- and remains -- something of an underground masterpiece. Stunts is a hugely sprawling, ...

Bullets Through The Speaker CD music
$8.69 This is an enhanced audio CD which contains regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files.
PeteStrumentals follows Jay Dee's Welcome 2 Detroit as the second offering in BBE's producer spotlight "Beat Generation" series. If you approach Pete Rock's joint as a song-oriented pop album, you may feel disappointed. Only two tracks ("Cake" and "Nothin' Lesser - Jamie's Mix") feature MCs and the repetitive, consistently mid-tempo beats get somewhat monotonous by the end of most tracks. If you approach the album as a radical work of sonic architecture, you may also feel disappointed, since Rock's relatively old-school sensibility isn't likely to make you hear music in a completely new way. But if you approach PeteStrumentals on its own terms -- as a laid-back collection of atmospheric beats ideal for late-night ...

Bullets Through The Speaker songs
$15.89 Jena, Germany's Freude-am-Tanzen began modestly in 1998 and reached liftoff four years later, when Wighnomy Brothers -- the label's flagship producers -- hit their stride and became buy-on-sight, with red carpets eventually rolled out by Luciano, Triple R, Michael Mayer, Adam Beyer, Jeremy P. Caulfield, Dominik Eulberg, Superpitcher, Tobi Neumann, and Richie Hawtin. (That list only accounts for some of the DJs who included Wighnomy-related tracks on officially released mixes.) The Wighnomys' Gabor Schablitzki (aka Robag Wruhme) and Sören Bodner developed a style of pared-down house that pairs the rigidities of straightforward Germanic techno with abstractly funky effects and samples learned, and then contorted, from hip-hop. Rest assured, though, that they are far away from the land of funky breaks. While not as juicy as the average Perlon track, the Wighnomy sound tends to be just as playful, albeit in a fashion that can be menacing and unsettling without reaching the grayscale shades and pitch-black torrents favored by the likes of Lawrence and Anders Ilar. Once the Wighnomys raised their flag, the Freude-am-Tanzen roster began to accumulate releases by likeminded producers and producers who temporarily adopted a sound ...
