FRED are the most exciting band to come out of Ireland in along time. The 5 piece from Cork City have exploded onto the Irish music scene and now look set to launch their unique brand of high-energy odd-rock on the rest of the planet.âLike Sly & The Family Stone in a swordfight with the Flaming Lips, refereed by Brian Wilsonâ according to national newspaper The Irish Post, FRED take everything that is good about music and put it in one giant sexy-ass package. Imagine your favourite song, now imagine your favourite song cooking you dinner. Thatâs how good FRED are.Releasing their magnificently glorious album âMaking Music So You Donât Have Toâ, to a sold out Opera House, the record has since brought feelings of tenderness and unbridled joy to all that have heard it, with some fans going so far as to say that their souls burst on listening. How can one band make so many feel this way? By bulldozing all musical boundaries that lay in their path. From being mere cult heroes in their native city one year ago, they have gone on to appear on every radio station, TV channel and stage in the country. From being used as theme music on national radio and TV shows (and beyond to the world famous BBC studios) enlisting droves in the FRED army everywhere they goâŠâŠâŠ..In the last year alone, they played to over 20,000 people at their own shows, excluding major festival appearances. This is the beginning of something special. The national press have delivered their verdict:âMusical Mavericksâ Hot PressâBest Album Of The Yearâ The VillageâFecund and Fecklessâ The Irish TimesâUnbelievably Brilliantâ The Irish Examiner Making Music So You Don't Have Too Music Fred Making Music So You Don't Have Too Songs | 1. | October |

$16.45 Mark J. Inouye is one of a very select group of trumpeters, equally at home in the worlds of jazz and classical music. After attending the University of California at Davis for two years as a civil engineering major, Mr. Inouye transferred to the Juilliard School and later played with the New York Philharmonic under the direction of Kurt Masur. He was a guest performer at the Hollywood Bowl in the Playboy Jazz Festival in Los Angeles and toured the United States with Toccatas & Flourishes, the nationally acclaimed organ and trumpet duo. He has appeared as a soloist in Wynton Marsalisâ video production, Marsalis On Music, which aired on BBC2 in Europe and on PBS in North America. Making Music So You Don't Have Too songs
$21.49 Her real name is Hanne Margrethe Fredriksen SĂžrvaag. A nice name â no doubt about that â but perhaps not the perfect stage name. And thatâs why Hanne chose stage name Paris when she released her first album "You know me". She was signed on Sony, and several of her songs from this album were on the Norwegian hit40 for weeks. This time she is back as âHanneâ. With new material and her own record company, the time was right to return to her own name. But letâs start where most stories begin: The beginningHanne wasnât old when she started thinking about a career as an artist, but it was her stay at Toneheim folkehĂžgskole that really kicked it off. This was where she put together her first demo, which she sent around to several record companies and crossed her fingers. Contract signingAfter completing the studies at Toneheim, Hanne went on to further musical studies â this time at BĂ„rdar Song and Dance Insitute. But in the meantime Sony received a demo from a young, musical girl, and Hanneâs first contract with a record company was soon to be signed. Hectic years followed, where she tried to combine school attendance and work with her album. After BĂ„rdar, Hanne was accepted at Paul McCartneyâs school in Liverpool, LIPA â but unfortunately had to decline as she was in the midst of completing her album. And in 2002, the album was released. Apart from Hanneâs own material, ...
| | Derrick Mckee Ticket To Somewhere CD (2006)
Making Music So You Don't Have Too album
$11.49 It is said that when preparation meets passion, people find themselves in a position to do big things. In the summer of 2000, an awkward teenager from the small city of Wheeling, West Virginia discovered the first half of this equation: passion. Armed with a guitar, a notebook, and a pen, Derrick McKee became a singer/songwriter as he wrote and recorded his first song, "A Chance," at his computer desk. Moments later, while listening to his ballad, Derrick fell in love with the art of songwriting. By the end of the night, Derrick had penned five songs and had no plans to stop. Towards the end of high school, Derrick had written over twenty songs and had even recorded a rough, 8-track demo titled Live From the Living Room. Not knowing much about the music business or where to start, Derrick contacted several club owners regarding the possibility of performing. ...
