$14.30 Rush is no stranger to best-of compilation albums, they've released a slew of them. They are also no stranger to DVDs. To mark their 35th anniversary, they've released Working Men, which is both; it marks their first best-of live compilation exclusively from the DVD sets Rush in Rio (2003), R30 (2005), and Snakes & Arrows Live (2008). There is also an unreleased cut from R30 -- a killer version of One Little Victory. While fans may simply regard this as a record company cash grab, hardcore fans know how closely Rush monitors each release and controls all aspects of their career. On hearing these tracks without benefit of the visuals, it becomes lucidly clear that in the 21st century, Rush plays more like a hungry act looking to prove themselves rather than as seasoned veterans jaded by the entire business. ...

Wake-Up Prayer CD music

There is quite a lot of variety (tempos, rhythms, styles) on this recording, all within a traditional jazz quartet setting.Various saxophones with a rhythm section, a piano trio and one solo piano realization, of nine Paralic originals, make up his debut CD entitled TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE. (All the music on this CD is instrumental.)Keep swingin'! **Recipient of the OutMusic Award (OMA) for Outstanding Songwriter, 2002**"How Bill's Heart Sings" (sampled on this webpage--track #5) and "Finally 2001" (track #6) in rotation on KASU-FM, Arizona State University radio as well as several other ...

Wake-Up Prayer songs
$12.69 Many people choose music, but for others music chooses them. Rob began playing the electric guitar at age 11, learning note-for-note solos of every Metallica and Guns ‘N Roses tune he could find. However, his metal edge began to fade after enrolling in his school’s jazz ensemble. There he was exposed to an array of new artists, new rhythms, new chords, and more importantly, the beauty of improvisation. ...

From the early morning gospel at a Tent church on Rainier Avenue in Seattle after my paper route; to the TEX MEX sounds in Phoenix , to the Italians singing in the Streets on Providence, R.I. to the days after I left home (quite early) at Moratorium Day in Washington, D.C. My parents house either you listened to Jim Reeves and Tammy Wynette (my Mom) or Harry James and most of the other Big Bands (my Step-father) to my older Brother Bill and the Beatles and Stones, to my sister and the Top 40. After leaving home, I went to any and every Be-In Festival or Concert I could beg borrow or work my way into. I was caught as a runaway in '69 and was "subjected" to all the free concerts every weekend at the Waikiki Shell what a gas. I listen today to everything I can get a chance to hear. Ok.... A lot of folks have emailed me and left messages asking if I was or am a Street Musician or Busker. Yes, that was me and sometimes still me. Yes that is me on the Mural of Street Musicians on the Second level of the Pike Place Market. I played Street Music here in Seattle for many years. I also Busked at the Square in Georgetown in Washington, D.C. , Venice Beach, California, Washington Square, NYC; and various other places around the Country.
