Taking the command and promise of II Timothy 1:8-9 to heart, TESTIFY is doing just that: testifying to what God has done in their lives and what he can do in the lives of others. Believing that obtaining salvation is the most important decision anyone can make, TESTIFY wants to do all it can to make sure everyone they meet knows the importance of that decision. Feeling the call of God on their lives to minister to the hearts of people, Brent and Kenneth Swanner formed TESTIFY in February of 1995. Landon Thompson joined TESTIFY September 25, 1999. TESTIFY is a full time music ministry dedicated to carrying out the call God has on their lives. TESTIFY comes to you with a servant's heart, making no demands. Giving the Lord their heart, mind, body and soul, they are, "Ready to Serve."TESTIFY can be found in churches from Massachusetts to Denver. TESTIFY has also had the honor of singing at the Southern Baptist Convention, the Louisiana Baptist Convention, Gaither Vocal Band Homecoming Concerts, Chick-fil-a Corporate Headquarters, Theaters in Branson, at TBN with Dennis Swanberg, the Grand Ole Opry, and in Nashville for a concert at Lifeway Christian Resource Center of the Southern Baptist Convention. In October 2001 TESTIFY was again in Nashville to sing at the Roy Acuff Theater for the "Heal Our Land Benefit Concert" for the victims of 9-11.In 1999 Testify begin working with Michael Sykes. Michael produces albums for The Gaither Vocal Band and The Oak Ridge Boys. Michael produced two albums for Testify: "Something Worth Living For" and "Keep Walking." 2003 brought a new friend to Testify. Buddy Mullins, former member of The Mullins, The Gathier Vocal Band and Sunday Drive. Buddy produced Testify's album, "The Highest Call." "The Highest Call" was released in June 2003. CRAFTON LEWIS was born on the island of Grenada, in the West Indies, to a Trinidadian mother and a Grenadian father. As a child he loved to sing, and was a member of a school choir.In his early teens he moved to Trinidad, where in 1965 he was associated with an organisation "Opportunity House" in Port of Spain. The sentimental love songs and ballads of the sixties made up his repertoire, as well as the "soul" music of that time. He considered a career in music, and made some radio appearances, once performing one of his own compositions.Although he was a religious and God-fearing young man, Crafton did not commit his life to Jesus Christ until a close brush with death made him realize his need of the Lord. A native of the Big Apple, Thomas Dickerson was influenced by music early in life. From humming along with his parents’ record collection at age three to playing radio songs by ear on the keyboard he received at age nine; Thomas’s passion for music continued to grow. His six years of classical music training won him several State Piano competitions in South Carolina. Desiring to use his talent for God, at 16 Thomas taught himself to play guitar and began to lead church worship in the Atlanta area. In 1998, while serving as a Senior High worship pastor, Thomas and his band toured Europe. For two years, beginning in 2001, he served as Adult worship leader for his home church of 5,000 members. This period marked the beginning of his Christian songwriting. In 2003, Thomas helped start a church in an Atlanta suburb. While serving as youth pastor and worship leader, he discovered that his real journey with Jesus was just beginning. With a good grasp of the Bible, God, and ministry, this veteran of “the church world” began to feel that something was missing in his life. Though he seemed happy being married and serving as a full-time minister in a perfect little world, it took an unforgettable, personal encounter with the Lord Jesus to change the course of his life forever! Since 2004, God had given Thomas songs about His incredible love for mankind and the personal relationship He desires with every person He has created. In early 2006, Thomas signed with Greenville-based OMG Records fulfilling his long-hoped-for offer to sign a recording contract; however, in spite of all that was going his way, Thomas still felt that something was missing. On the evening of March 31, 2006, someone in Greenville asked Thomas why he was recording the album. Instead of a polite, rehearsed response he realized deep down inside that he had no idea!
