Virgil Robinson formed his first band back in 1965 His music reflects too many styles to place him in any category. In the 70's he saw his band American Frog reach success in the Northwest sharing the stage with legendary bands. Since then he has played with numerous bands hitting the club scene from Alaska to the Caribbean,Japan and Opening for Acts such as The Marshall Tucker Band, Little Feat, The Sub Dudes,The Georgia Satallites & Dr John. He released his first CD "Shapes Into Words" in 2001 The level of perfection is also seen in his song writing which flows intimately with his music. Although he never ceases to amaze his audience, he remains humble and dedicated to his craft, seeking only to bring himself and those around him to a higher level through his music.
