"Execution" was a sonic experience: an album that mixes the best of metal with strength, melody and the talent of the most respected musicians on the scene. The musical influences used by Tribuzy during the writing process were the great classics such as Powerslave (Iron Maiden), And Justice For All (Metallica) and other 80's heavy music. After the initial success of "Execution" album, it was decided to play some concerts in Brazil featuring all the guest artists from the album. This was a very difficult task to achieve with all the different artists schedules, but finally in November 2005 another dream came true and the full line-up appeared together onstage for three concerts and to be recorded for Live CD release. The album "Execution Live Reunion" has 11 tracks in total and features all of the guests from the "Exe-cution" studio album in a special performance onstage with Tribuzy. Yet another album by German guitar superstar Axel Rudi Pell, Mystica delivers...well, pretty much what every previous Axel Rudi Pell album has delivered. Pell is comfortable enough with his impressive chops that he doesn't have to do the whole God of the Fretboard routine that so many European metal guitarists are saddled with, so his albums are refreshingly light on the pyrotechnics. He does have a fondness for the pretentiously titled instrumental, however, so here listeners have "Haunted Castle Serenade (Opus #4 Grazioso e Aggresso)" and "The Mysterious Return (Intro)." Otherwise, this is utterly straightforward, by the book melodic hard rock in the '80s poodle-hair style, complete with former Hardline singer Johnny Gioeli's pleasant but utterly anonymous vocals.
