Bj”rk returns to her iconic, innovative and rhythmic roots in 2007 with Volta - her sixth studio album, and the first to feature the Icelandic artist's infamous beats since Vespertine. Volta was produced and written entirely by Bj”rk herself, featuring contributions and collaborations from the likes of Timbaland, Antony Hegarty (of Antony and The Johnsons), Brian Chippendale (from Lightning Bolt), and also includes appearances from an all female Icelandic brass section and Chinese pipa players. First Album I listened to by Bjork
Everyone here is saying that if you've never heard Bjork before, or just getting into her you wont appreciate this album.

Braver and Braver
Warning: Blind Followers of Björk's music may be disappointed or turned off by this album. This is perhaps the most avant-garde of her own releases, but less so than the "Music from Matthew Barney's 'Drawing Restraint 9.

Amazing
Amazing album! Nothing tops the sound of "Dull Flame of Desire," and "Hope" is truly amazing. "Vertebrae by Vertebrae" i can never get tired of.

it´s because we have this pop goddess carrying the music world on her back. its sheer-delight "innocence" will definetly remind me about 2007 from now to the phoookeingu rest of my silly life.
